We felt very safe 💯 Of course use the same situational awareness and caution you would anywhere else but we had no reason to feel unsafe even late at night. We didn’t use a tourism agent
My mom already accepted my boyfriend we’ve been together for over 2 years and we’ve been good friends for about 6 years I couldn’t ask for a better life partner( I’m 18)….but I’m scared to tell my dad because my dad is super strict…he might try to break me and my boyfriend apart and destroy my phone and hit me or hit my boyfriend and disown me but I’m tired of hiding it it’s so exhausting and draining for both of us and it’s ruining the relationship because sometimes we don’t see each other for weeks or months
You guys are awesome!! I plan on arriving solo around the middle of November 2024. Where would you recommend I stay for a single black male looking to meet single ladies. thanks !!
Hey, Maybe bed&bike hostel. It’s in Willemstad, near all the bars and restaurants, likely to have other solo travelers. Your best bet will be staying in the Willemstad/Pietermaai area

My absolute favorite RU-vid couple! I pray your continued health, strength and peace together as Husband and Wife! I am so glad you all get to do the important stuff like kissing, cuddling, talking, holding hands and sharing time and space TOGETHER. I pray your abundance and continued prosperity! My Husband and I just celebrated our 38th anniversary on October 1. We didn’t going on a honeymoon until after our first year of marriage. We couldn’t afford it. But our honeymoon was spent at the Poconos! My husband’s family gifted us with that experience. It’s a historical and nostalgic spot! God continue to bless you both!
aww you're the best! Thank you, God is so good! It's a special blessing to have this time together 🥹 Happy Belated Anniversary! We pray to be so blessed to celebrate a 38th anniversary one day! 🤩❤️
Hi Fanta and Darwin, how are you both doing, i hope all is well, we are coming to Curacao for a week, in November we are running into some difficulty, concerning accomodation at the Airbnb, how did you all go about booking the place, did you all pay with credit card on line and the rest when you arrived. We are a bit hesitant to pay with Credit card don't know if the place we want to stay is legit, any assistace you give would be helpful.thank you in advance.
Hey! everything was paid online via Airbnb. You shouldn’t have to pay anything outside of Airbnb. If they’re asking you to pay cash in person that’s a red flag. Paying with a credit card if safest because you can dispute and take no fault. don’t pay anything in person or pay using any vendor other than Airbnb. If it’s a new property or if the bnb owner doesn’t have any reviews or history, I’d also be cautious. If you are feeling a bit anxious about it, it may be best to follow your intuition and move fwd w a property you feel most confident in. Hope this helps!
@@DeniseFrederick-oj9ig Glad the information helped! Unfortunately, we don't have a list of recommendations for specific bnbs at the moment on Curacao, but if you want us to vet anything you're interested in we can. We're also more than happy to share general tips or advice for your search!

Hi! the transfer was offered through our Airbnb. The bnb had a few drivers. This is one: Tosh +501 628-8141. But you’ll be able to find other transfer services on Google as well. You should also be able to arrange through your bnb/hotel. Hope this helps!
It was a couple mins drive to Jan Thiel beach but there are soo many more beaches North of the island that would be minimum 30mins+ away. Jan Thiel is a great neighborhood but we think there are other bnbs and neighborhoods more central to the beaches available. And that’s correct, 250usd
These are in Jan Thiel or close by a couple mins drive. Check out our Things to Know video too - we have a longer list of nightlife spots on there that might be helpful
Hi, how much did you all pay to stay at Airbnb, for 4 adults, for 4nights and 5 days. What is the name of the Airbnb? Want to travel in November this year
Coming from Jamaica all that you talk about is common it’s a third world country ❤ love the vlog… a the prices was expensive for liquor is because you went to the tourist stores local stores would be half the prices I think all islands are like that
Very common and contributes to the charm we love! ☺️ Regarding liquor, you’re right, usually imported liquors will cost more than the local liquor. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! ❤️
Thank you for the video! It was very informative. I plan on going to Curacao July of 2025 for my birthday. What document did you say that we needed to get before you travel there? Also I plan on staying at the Avila Beach Hotel. I read a lot of really good reviews. Do you know anything about it?
Hey! You’ll have to complete the Digital Immigration Card within 7 days prior to your departure to Curacao. You can visit Curaçao’s official website to fill it out Don’t know too much about Avila but it IS one of the nicer, more acclaimed hotels. It’s also close to Willemstad which is nice. They also offer day passes which includes access to their private beach and other services so if you want to experience Avila that’s also an option. Hope this helps!
Hey! Secrets played plenty reggae, dancehall and soca. The only thing is that Secrets had more wallflowers but maybe we came too early. Emporio also played a mix of music with more reggaeton and people dancing in their groups. Grand Cafe Mahaii has a Thursday night reggae night which might be what you’re looking for. If we were to visit again we’d give these three a shot. We have a Things To Know video w a list of nightlife locations around the 7 min mark. Maybe something will catch your eye! ☺️ Happy to answer any other questions! ❤️
Hi FantaandDarwin. Its your favorite cranky viewer.. I miss you both. Please take care I was scared to click on this video after reading the title but your ok.thank god.❤.
We live in the northwest part of the island, far away from the very crowded part of Jan Thiel and surroundings with all the traffic jams all day long at Caracas bay road. Here at the hilly side of the island you can really enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of envolding nature. But still you have all the nightlife of Willemstad and Jan Thiel within a 30 minutes car ride. Our first neighbors live 300 meters down the road and we are looking over a huge valley only covered in lush green. We have an apartment for family/friends/holidaymakers at Bisento Hill and each one of them are amazed by the stunning views and tranquility of our site. You won't get that at the southeast and very busy part of the island. Guests do go to Seaquarium, Mambo Beach and all the other tourist traps but are always glad to come back to their apartment in serenity.
Despite your trials and tribulations you all have chosen to revel in and savor every moment together! Your love! Our love🙌🏾 stands the test of time! Yahweh, continue to pour out HEALING AND BLESSINGS ON THESE TWO CHILDREN OF YOURS! BLESS THEM MOST ABUNDANTLY WITH THE THINGS THAT REALLY MATTER; FAMILY, JOY, LOVE PEACE ABUNDANCE! Can you suggest a luxury beachfront resort with a nice pool and nice beach access for an our wedding Anniversary trip? Preferably newer and one besides Sandals. Thank you
Mangrove was actually one of our top choices! It’s conveniently close to Willemstad which is nice and also has a private beach which is a win. Curacao beaches can get crowded so if you’re going to Curacao for the beach it’s a good choice. But we did hear the food on site isn’t anything to fiend over but if you plan to eat off resort you should be fine. Hope this helps!
@@tiffanimee8106 we just got back from Curacao and a week stay at Mangrove! Great location, easy to get anywhere from the resort. The property was nice and well maintained and free parking garage (we rented a car) was a real plus. I will say the food was not great in our opinion, we ate most meals offsite after the first day. The was a lot of fried foods and most food was over cooked and pretty bland unfortunately. Would definitely stay here again just would know that we won’t be getting our moneys worth by eating onsite.
@@angelamaxey181 thank you so much for your reply, we are going there next month and I hope it lives up to its reputation! I guess we will have to eat off resort, it'll be fun to try the local foods anyway!
Travelocity is usually our go-to for booking car rentals. But at the time when wanted to book because we booked our rental a bit last minute and around carnival season, there weren’t any vehicles available on Travelocity and had to reserve a rental directly with a local agency thru their website. But if not for that situation, we would go with Travelocity. Just don’t wait tooooo last minute to book your ride
@@FantaandDarwin Awesome! Thank you. We leave tonight. I was able to find something on Priceline. There is a big Jazz Festival this weekend so it was tough to find something, but we did.
Prices can vary quite a bit depending on the location, time of year, and the type of experience you’re looking for. Food Prices: • Casual Dining: In most cities, you can expect to pay around $10-$20 per person at a casual restaurant. • Mid-range Restaurants: Meals typically range from $20-$50 per person, depending on the cuisine and location. • Fine Dining: High-end restaurants can charge $50-$100+ per person, especially in major cities or popular tourist destinations. Hotel Prices • Budget Hotels/Motels: Prices generally range from $50-$100 per night. These are often basic accommodations without many amenities. • Mid-range Hotels: Expect to pay between $100-$250 per night. These hotels typically offer more amenities like pools, gyms, and room service. There are a few that offer private beach access. • Luxury Hotels: Prices can start at $250 per night and go up to $1000+ for top-tier experiences. These all likely have beach access • Vacation Rentals/Airbnb: Prices generally range from $100-$300 per night. But in the end it all comes down to your budget and the experience you’re willing to pay for. You can live large, live small, or do both 😊
you guys are a Magnificent couple, (I don't know you but felt love for you right away) never forget what you appreciate about each other. I wanted to know if you can have a dollar exchange before the trip?
Thank you for your kind words! ☺️ You can exchange before your trip but it could be more cost effective to use the exchange options available once you land. Most banks in Belize will exchange USD for BZD. There are also currency exchange offices throughout, especially in San Pedro. You can check with your hotel to see if they offer currency exchange services, too. Of course, there are ATMs in Belize that allow you to withdraw BZD directly - just be mindful of any bank fees. You'll also have the chance to exchange currency at the airport when you land. USD is generally accepted across Belize. Hope this helps!
Omg you guys have a RU-vid channel that's awesome !!hi Darwin !!! Omg, my husband and I went there for our anniversary last year and loved it so much. Amazing gem 💎
I'm struggling to get my mom agree on letting me go with my guy friend to prom😔she prefers me going alone or with one of my friends but thy all got their own dates🤧any tips?advice?anything?🥺
I definitely understand what you’re going through. I would explain to her exactly how you feel. Tell her that you want to go with your friend and that prom is an event where people usually go with someone and none of your other friends are available. Ask her what her concerns are and express that she can trust you because she raised you right. You can also explain that your friend is a good person. Maybe it may help if you introduced him to her before? It may help her feel more at ease. I hope this helps! Let us know how it goes 🫶🏾 best of luck!
Curacao has great hotel and bnb options so it comes down to how you like to vacation. We tend to spend a lot of time roaming around town so airbnbs work well for us. You will likely save money with a bnb but hotels offer nice amenities that not all bnbs have like access to private beaches, room service, cleaning, etc. Ultimately it comes down to what’s most important for you when vacationing but either choice is a good one
We think it goes both ways. Communication, being supportive and understanding is always key because life has ups and downs. Be real (and gentle) with yourself and your partner and practice self-love bc it helps us love others even better 🎯
