Local Colorado Springs Rip-shits! Being in Animosity, I had the distinct pleasure to not only know them and share the stage with them, I also had the honor to party like Rockstars with them on many occasions (remember the Vitticus house on 19th and Uintah?). Salem Spade (featuring the blistering good vocals of the late but f**king great Johnny Secrest on vocals) were younger than a lot of the other local & near-local band members at the time, but I think we all stood in awe of just how exquisitely excellent they all were musically and personally... I know I did. Colorado Springs during this time in history was the greatest music scene to be a part of HANDS DOWN compared, I'd say, to ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! And Salem Spade were an integral spoke in that most righteous of wheels we all made up. Excellent posting!
Despite not even playing on it, you can absolutely hear Nick Mertaugh’s influence in the songwriting. The instrumental sounds like it could’ve been on Arsenal of Glory. It even has the same drum timbre (Marc played in both bands).
13:31 till the end - something that can be heard on Hornets of the Pogrom and Incorrigible Bigotry. I bet Nick is more important than many fans may think.
I like alias alias album that is a is a great band this was the first time I got to here this album but enjoy the 80's music any day of the week I hope more people make comments on this because I would like to here back from you soon, see you later and have a nice day and may god bless you all with love because he is the one that takes care of us if you read the bible that would be the best book you could ever have.
Fabulous! How’d you get this type of guitar sound like what pedal do you use? I always like your solo tune especially in Worm which is wide, epic and sorrow.
Patrick rondat con questo album ha scritto una delle più belle composizioni metal di sempre. Penso che sia uno dei migliori chitarristi metal di sempre. Dopo aver ascoltato questo album la mi vita è cambiata. Per me numero 1. Grazie maestro Rondat!!
what a fantastic band, its such a pitty that they put this out in 1990, if they had in around 1984-85, they would have been a worldwide success for sure. Nevertheless, luckily for us, they eventually put out their full album - Sons of Thunder (2008), which includes these great EP tracks.
