Up until the Imperial March, it sounded like the music from the line inside Space Mountain. Also, this is why you should always carry around an Uno Reverse Card.
I'm still not convinced she's dead yet. Odalia is tricky, and she has a lot of experience with manipulation and magic. I think either those guards will think Ayzee is innocent because they didn't hear a scream or because Odalia has a lot of enemies, OR, the guards are working with Odalia. Corrupt real guards, fake guards, or real guards who think Ayzee is innocent. Those are my guesses. I love these comics!! I look forward to them every day, and re-watching the old ones. You keep The Owl House fandom so much more alive than it would be without you. In my mind at least, your comics are pretty much canon. At least they feel like they are. Which is why you're so great! EDIT: PLUS, I just noticed, the blanket is draped over Odalia in a very odd way. Like whoever covered her up, wasn't actually TRYING to cover her up all the way. But to give the illusion of trying to hide her, so that she would still easily be found. Veryyy suspicious. IF Odalia is really dead, then I think her killer is trying to set up Ayzee. But I still don't know if she is actually dead or not. More comics will tell! So exciting!
Ayzee has fallen into the classic teenage trope of not telling her parents anything even though she likely would not get in trouble. And now she really is in trouble.
🫣….. 🤨 Well that's quite an underwhelming end for Odalia. I was really hoping for her defeat to at least end with a rage and tear-driven Amity repeatedly PUNCHING the tar out of Odalia with her abomination fists as punishment for manipulating (and likely traumatizing) Ayzee, causing the wicked old lady's hair to tousle, her face to bruise, a few of her teeth to fall out, and her nose to bleed. Luz would then intervene the violence from going any further and embrace Amity to calm her down while she cries and recovers from what she's been informed about what Odalia put her daughter through. Maybe it's another front Odalia is deploying? Could she be using a spell that temporarily stops her heart? Who knows?
Azyee: “My God. She’s dead. But who killed her? I have to report this! I need to call-“ Guard 1: “Freeze! Hands in the air!” Azyee: “No, wait! You don’t understand! I found her like this! I didn’t do anything! Honest!” Guard 3: “Lies! You’re coming with us, missy!” Azyee: “Oh, crud!” (Uses a smoke bomb glyph and vanishes) Guard 2: Where’d she go?” Guard 1: “Split up and find her!”
Don't buy it. Much as I would love to believe Odalia is dead I know there are ways to induce a pretty convincing fake death. Anyone remember the movie Sherlock Holmes with RDJ?
My theory is that this is a fake Odalia. It's still an illusion, but there is an actual corpse there that isn't Odalia. She totally could have teamed up with Adrian Graye. Remember Gus' big illusion in Through the Looking Glass Ruins (S2E5).
I'm not going to lie it would be cool if she actually died and there was a bigger villain that she was trying to escape but couldn't...could give some nice character development for Ayzee and maybe a slight bit of Odalia redemption. That's just me though
No one is considering the fact that it could be someone else that was killed and someone used an illusion spell on the body to make it look like Odalia.
Oh please, that's just an abomination double, I can see the purple under her rags! Oh wait that's just more clothing... hurra- I mean, oh no, she's dead 😒😅😂
No no no no no, Ayzee is not guilty of this! (like killing Odalia is a crime anyway). But seriously… wow, that was an unexpected twist, how is Amity gonna feel about this? Also has anyone noticed the dagger looks a lot like Belos’s? Maybe it's just a common design.
