I was born in 1956, so I would have been 10 in 1966. A long time ago. Yet I remember almost everything that was or happened then. It was the best time of my life.

Unbelievably, you left a few things out: Mighty mouse Fireball XL5 Gumby and pokey Rocky and Bullwinkle Huckleberry hound Underdog Love the toy and sereal commercials. I always love the one about puffed week being shot from guns, but they got in trouble for that one. I love seeing it come out of the canon.
Born in early 1964 in Montgomery, Alabama, but raised in the country in a neighboring county. Saturday mornings were special to me and my younger brothers. Neither parent would have to wake us up to be ready for the school bus. Looney Tunes, Johnny Quest (the original), Tennessee Tuxedo, H.R. Puff & Stuff, Fat Albert, Charlie Brown holiday specials, we grew up to all those cartoons from the 1960s and ‘70s. Unfortunately, I also remember Vietnam was on TV a lot, and the news about the war scared me because I was too young understand it. The images of Vietnam on TV was what scared me.
We used to run around with our fake guns and divide into groups and have play cowboys vs Indians and other such games. Nowday's the cops would be there in a second. I don't think they even sell them anymore. Back then all the boys had them.
Born in 62' , thank you for bringing back what was the greatest time of my life . My childhood, Mom and Dad were healthy and alive , my brother hadn't died in Vietnam yet , and all the pressures of life have yet to happen. Saturday morning in front of the TV eating Cap'n Crunch watching all my favorite cartoons ( Underdog , Sigmund & The Sea Monster , and of course who can forget Land Of The Lost ... And so many more ) . Thank you again ...

Charlottes web (Hannah barbera) was shown to me in kindergarten as well as Charlie Brown thanksgiving. We also read the book in 3rd grade. I’m only 19 and loved stuff like this! When you watched it all on Disc!

Fun Fact: Some of the Hanna Barbera shows that are shown on this video are somewhat redesigned in Jellystone, a show that came out on HBO Max years after Hanna Barbera shutted down, and after William Hanna and Joseph Barbera passed away
Found out not too long ago the longest yard was a remake and didn’t know it had an original. Burt Reynolds’s also made a cameo in Adam Sandlers Take on the longest yard!
It was a big event when the first Saturday in September came in the early 70's,.....it was the new fall cartoon line-up,....new cartoons arrived,.....Friday night was like Christmas -eve, waiting for Saturday AM,.....*born in 64*.....!!
I was born in 1960 and instantly recognized many of these. Back when cartoons and games were just plain fun; no agendas, no morals, certainly no political correctness; just have your cereal and park yourself in front of the TV for the morning!! (by the way, kids, it's 10am....do you know where your parents are??😁)

Always love Don especially as Barney Fife. And the wannabe chicken reporter in The ghost & Mr.Chicken. The chemistry he and Andy had was great. Their should have been a marathon of him as Barney on tv today. In memory of his 100th birthday a true TV icon.

Being a kid in the late 60's and 70's, I never thought about being 62, it never ever crossed my mind. But here I am at 62 remembering when i was 10 yrs old.
I have so many fond memories of channel 11. Coming home from school 🏫 in the 60's and making a glass of chocolate milk 🥛 and sitting in front of the TV watching all of my favorite shows.
Speed Racer.. as well as other Japanese imports like Gigantor were never part of the Saturday morning primetime lineups except for local channels :( Thanks for watching though !
Chiller Theater when that hand came out of the ground I being a kid would be scared of that thing On Get Smart, I would count all of the doors he goes through, every time I watch the show. Funny times
So many happy thoughts have passed away 🌹❣️❤😂 I had several of these games I know that the candyland game was my favorite , Space Ghost , Spidermam , Superman , Captain America marvels Avengers hour , Speed Racer were some of my favorites for cartoons
why did they cut the audio during the Frito Bandito commercial? Isn't that the way it was in 1969? It's obviously the cancel culture preventing what was broadcast on TV and radio nation wide in 1969, daily.
