We are a small two-person, family-run Indie Game Studio featuring our game Forgotten Seas - an open sea survival game (based on the Bermuda Triangle mystery) featuring solo and multiplayer exploration, base building, farming, treasure hunting, and land & ship combat. Game is set to be a multiplayer pve / survival game with a backstory questline. Gameplay is a hybrid of land and sea. Yes we have rum and ale...but you get to grow and make it yourself!
This game looks great even as is, i will be purchasing. I have always said that nobody has been able to make a decent pirate game since POTCO. Every pirate game falls short somewhere, either great sea battles, but no land travels. Or a fun land experience but poor ship battles with no boarding. If you keep your games experience well rounded it will easily be a huge success with no competition. I really hope this project succeeds as this is by far my favorite genre. What really made pirates if the Caribbean online a fun game was how well rounded it was. Travel the land, find treasure, good combat. Then you could travel the seas with hired NPC crews, engage in great ship battles, then also BOARD and capture other ships. Find new islands with hidden treasures. So many games have fallen short in one of these areas. This looks so promising i feel 10 again.

might be a simple question but what is the goal of the game? You can build ships or create them, craft gear and weapons, but whats the end goal ? also can you board ships and steal them? is there trading goods like in pirate games?
There are trade goods like crate of spices, rum wine etc that can sell in a market stall. The game does not have a definitive end per say, but from a story mission perspective you have to find your way out of the bermuda triangle that you crashed into. You encounter grave challenges and mysteries along the way. There are ship boarding encounters yes, but not every enemy ship can be boarded. You free enslaved crew in these encounters for a reward. Some of the rewards help you build powerful ships. Hope that helps
I got 34 hours into the game before I finally got a map 2 piece. (You combine all 9 map pieces at a cartography table.) For what? I had no idea. But when I put all 9 pieces of the map into the table they combined and formed... a bottle of fucking water. 34 hours in. ONE set of 9 map pieces and they combine together not to form some sort of treasure map that maybe spawns a cool treasure island or directs you toward a secret treasure. It created a bottle of water. That about sums up my experience with this game. Btw, I threw that bottle of water into the ocean.
A new treasure island gets revealed, go there, you will find a pyramid tomb. Bring a sword and maybe some medicine. Fight the mummies in there and find your way to the treasure. Bring a ship to haul your treasure

I still cant believe how far you guys have with this game, since handsonwithblg put me onto the demo way back in March 2023, the game has changed so much, how you guys have done it in such a short time baffles me. So we finally get to see Captain Apollo a rare treat indeed, as it seems Captain Anne gets all the pluadits, so to you Captain Aplllo a huge thank you from me and all the players for the work you have put into this amazing game. Looks great ! That must be the ship we can board and save folks and stuff on ? Thank God ye left Wormy and Squirmy the turtles in the game . After the need to kill them they are great company ! LOL
That is a Regal Galleon. Dreadnought class ship. It wont be available till early access release. It is still in the workshop😂. But you do get to see it in the beta update in the ship boarding encounter. The quest chain leads up to unlocking of this ship later.

I played piano , drums , harmonica , banjo , guitar , bass guitar and many weird bluegrass things like spoons and washboards in my day but today Righty and Lefty are closing up so I can't do much more than a few small things and Kareoke .
