How to shoot a cannonball from the warship? I had cannonballs in my inventory (poison ones). I have attacked a vesel but it wouldn't fire. Anyway I liked the demo :)
press T to open your skills. Drag the fire cannon skill on your action bar. If you have cannonballs in your inventory, then using the skill (whiled mounted on your boat) will fire the cannon towards your selected target, or in the direction of the cannon :) . Press Tab to select your target. Have fun! ( make sure you have energy to fire and you are mounted)
How do i access the warboats storage? So far everything is great. I messed up a lot on the first run through. So deleted my character and started again. Staying on land until ive done everything there. Then going sailing. I like this game and i'll definitely buy the full game. Well done.
Notes. When the trader ship arrives at your dock , you can buy a stat reset scroll. If you put your stats in the wrong place, this scroll will help. Unfortunately , it costs 2,000 coins. And i have 200 :). There is a fishing pole for 1,000 but no idea how it works. The cheapest ship after your warboat is 10,000 coins. So until the full game is released , or you play for hours and hours every day, your warboat is going to be it. Once you have killed the pirate ship, i dont think it comes back , but there are lots of reinforcement ships to kill and loot , and they only have 850 health, so you can sink them with 2 shots. The only other island is the ' juice ' island to the south east. Once you have handed in the treasure quest, it will give you a quest to go and get oranges, lemons etc. Its a 15-20 minute sail there , but if you want a quick return , grab all the fruit you can, and start swimming. You'll drown in under 2 mins and respawn at home. Faster than a 20 min sail home. You can put your raft back in your inventory. Always take a few ship repair kits , and a sword, in case of shark attacks. Lastly . When you have done a quest, Hit Q and ' finish ' it manually. As not every quest finishes automatically. I had to buy another cartography blueprint and do that, to end that quest. Good Luck and safe sailing :)
mermaids will speed up your boat when you swing by them. cloth comes from damp defenders (ghosts at night), or also from collecting flotsams (floating crates) in the ocean
@@jenniferabbott1960 You can get cloth and residue from killing the ghost pirates at night. If you build a house on the mainland , near the tiny isle with the bottle on it , you can have an advanced campfire inside the house and storage chests. You'll need a copper sword, some sharpening stones , level 3 are best , and some timer foods. There are five foods that run on a timer . Start them all just before you attack the first pirate. There is one just over the rise to your left. . one head in the trees near the lake. And one all the way round the shore to your right. After you hit the first one, run back inside your house and stand next to the lit adv campfire, to get your health and energy to max. Run out, kill 2nd one , run back. Kill third. they are all standing on their own , away from the main group on the hill. That group is the toughest. Good luck and enjoy :)

Ive found out that cooked fish give energy , where does it say what each type of food gives? maybe a coloured edge to them? red for health, yellow for energy , brown for well fed ? and i'm guessing iron and moss are from other islands? can i by pass the pirate ship and just sail to them , or is that the last quest on the starter island? and why is it raining inside my house? :) i have a roof on . Thanks. and i love the game , definitely buying it :)
ok, you don't start the game with a poison spear, you have to make one. I have 2 poison towards the spear but you need 3. I don't know where I got the 2 that I have, so where do I get more?
I attacked the pirate ship. I got off maybe 6 shots before i ran out of energy. and you cant put a camp fire on the warboat, as far as i know. so with my energy gone, i turned and ran. and the pirate ship blew me out of the water. my ship has 1200 health , the pirates has 3,350. so how am i supposed to kill him ?
that encounter is moderate difficulty, you will need energy regeneration from fish, and a few repair kits. The quest will tell you more tips on how to engage him. Key is to keep your energy regenerating so you can keep firing and healing the ship. Also, warboat is intended to hit targets from quite far away , so fire at maximum range so you can get a few shots off before the enemy gets too close.
