The polies diameter is too small. It is not appropriate. The saw band isn't made to this effort and may rupt. 20 cm is much more indicated

Great ideas but just one doubt. The cage that holds the planner is at the same height as the planner plate so, how can the blades reach the wood to be worked?

AND REMEMBER ONLY THE TIP HAS TO BE SHARP ABOUT A HALF AN INCH OF IT ABOUT A HALF AN INCH OF IT ON EACH SIDE. THAT'S USUALLY THE MOST WILL GO IN FOR MOST THROWS OTHER THAN THAT IT COULD BE USED AS A SURVIVAL OR CAMPING TOOL DUAL PURPOSE . AND YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR THROWING KNIVES AT LEAST 9 MIN -15" INCHES GOOD TUTORIAL BY THE WAY

Charcoal is not an effective fuel, not cheap, just for RU-vid Dream Team Video SquarePants to play Blacksmith on weekends. In grinding belts and wheels, fuel electric power and sandpaper, you just could buy tool steel . You are wasting resources consulting with a real Blacksmith first saving time. Why shape throwing knives like steak knives Thumbs down because of contents bad practices

Where did you get the curved metal rods? Did you buy straight rods and somehow curve them yourself? If so, how? With a machine? Heat and hand-held tools? Mechanical non-electric tool? EDIT: I am an absolute moron. You show the tool in the video. However what is that tool called??

That seems like a lot of work. Did you consider flipping the bracket over, glueing it to the bottom, and using it for the splitter?

LOL, I'm all for ghetto but this is too much ghetto for me. AND...I didn't buy a drill to power my homemade lathe, I got a discarded treadmill and took the motor out and used it to power the lathe using plywood pullies.

Nice idea, I’m oookjng to do something similar, but don’t you get a lot of deflection in the middle of those rails? They are only 3/4” thick and span several feet. Maybe use jointed 2x4s on end, or better yet, Unistrut

I'm used to larger, corded routers ru-vid.comUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z so this was a different experience for me. Basically, this is an incredibly sweet machine, fits well in the hand, etc. It has slightly less power than I'm used to, but that's understandable. Maneuvering freehand takes some practice. These days, it's especially nice to be able to avoid power cords. This is above the level of a hobbyist but below a pro level.

This is superb esp for a beginner like me who doesnt really want to spend much money at least as a start. One thing i was thinking that could make it both more stable and maybe smoother is the long planks with the wingnuts on the sides could be those hollow metal rods still ising the wingnut idea. When i get to trying i will let you know how it goes!!! A great vid!!
