Loved this! I appreciate your joyful attitude and your obvious skillfulness. And that you use real songs, not exercise muzak. Yours are the first online cardio workouts that work for my 68-year old body and spirit. Thank you! (Anne)
Well I must do this one more often and it's 12 days since the last time. I really must get a grip and alternate with other exercises not just keep doing the same ones :-)
Thank-you for these exercises. I had acute pain in m back and was very stiff and could not bend. The slightest bump in the car gave much pain in my back, The first day I found relief. The car pumps do not bring on extreme pain The exercises made my right hip sore which was probably the reason for back pain I do appreciate your exercises and that is why I am thanking you.
I've had nearly a week without being able to do much proper exercise although I have been walking a great deal while my son and his family were been here and of course line dancing so wasn't without exercise. Starting back properly though now and feel as though it's definitely needed. I do like this workout 🙂
Love you videos, but can you please do versions without music? If I mute, cannot hear narration which is useful for correct form when a beginner like me. Thanks!
I have done this strength workout many times. I am 72. If anyone reading this has ever had a rotator cuff injury, I would highly recommend quickly dropping down to the lowest weight when you see the rotator cuffs are going to be exercised. I hurt one of mine in the gym merely using a 5-lb. dumbbell. I now only use a 1-pounder on the rotator cuff maneuvers. In addition, on the tricep-kickback exercises, when you do the one where you shift your weight back on one foot, and place your heel of the other foot forward, make sure that forward foot is as relaxed as possible -- think of it as merely propped there on your heel. This is my policy after having a problem with peroneal tendinitis. It will help. Thanks Cindy.
And thank you for your helpful tips. I stay with lighter weights as well ever since I got a shoulder tear from over use. You have to do you and stay safe.
This not only worked my core but helped stretch out my lower back that seems to be giving me grief in the mornings when I first get out of bed. Great combo to do often - - - .
