This Cooking Channel is about me, a Poor Man, making Gourmet meals, in my Kitchen. This means if I can save money by doing things myself, wheeling and dealing for better price's, shopping the sales, buying second hand equipment or excepting donations, I'll do it. Some of my recipes are cheap and some are expensive but cutting out the middle man and cooking these meals myself usually saves me 2/3rds the cost of eating out. This channel is based on a $500 a month food budget that feeds a family of 5 and this is how I do it! All Recipe Ingredients & Weekly Newsletter: PoorMansGourmetKitchen.com

I used to make these the night prior to road trips, only I put a slice of cheeze on mine after deep frying after I put them in a paper towel for a few seconds to degrease them some. Then while traveling I put them on the dashboard in a paper bag to heat them up, and you have a decent breakfast while your traveling, you just need to stop somewhere eventually to use their lou. I learned how to make them from a cheap old scotsman who was tighter than a bulls ass in FLY -TIME ! Thems pretty yummy , I liked using jimmy deans hot sausage in the tube.....and added a dash of cayenne into the flower mix for an extre zing.
Yeah that is a good idea for the kids and even for the adults without any alcohol in them. I mean you can always put something in there for the adults but it's refreshing without as well
Much like chicken, Pork is generally safest to eat at an internal temperature of 165° F but more recent studies have shown that 145° F yields the best results.
Well that looks really really good but I got to tell you something, I have a can of the same corned beef in my refrigerator but it's bigger, I put it in the refrigerator so I can cut the fat off. But since I have sauerkraut and provolone cheese and all that stuff I'm going to make me a corned beef sandwich for the next couple days cuz here it is so hot!!!! 🥵
Oh, I understand. I like to cook mine in the fat, however. Good old brisket fat makes the best beef tallow. ☺ I hope you enjoy your sandwichs. Another alternative to Sourkraut is Kim Chee! 😋 🍻
Smoke Rings are WAY over-rated. It's all about the flavor! www.texasmonthly.com/bbq/the-science-of-the-smoke-ring/#:~:text=Let%20me%20drop%20a%20hard,the%20smoke%20ring%20is%20useless.
What do you mean, dirty? If they were frozen, they were most likely pre-cooked with seasoning... 🤔 Is that what you're seeing?? Living crawfish could still have mud on them, but if they were already boiled, they shouldn't.
Amazing honest food. 👍 My gorgeous wife of 50 years & I love our slow cooker, everything melts in the mouth, flavours are incredible & we have days of leftovers.
