Thanks so much! Have recently been realizing starching is a key and have discovered StaFlo. Like your handle for the starch. Will order from your link. Also thanks for the great tip about needle down for starting!! I was using a starter piece and recently saw a tip about simply holding the thread which I like better than the starter piece but needle down is even better!! Thank you!!
The purple sew cool kids machine is battery ran and it’s no thread it mixes the fibers of felt together it’s a good first step to teach kids to sew they can’t get there fingers under the needles and no thread to deal with my daughter loved it
Really great information and I'm a newbie quilter! Did realize just how expensive just having your wonderful quilt professionally quilted! WOW! I am now 88 and have made around maybe 10 quilts! I learned to sew at 10 years old on an ancient Singer! Now I'm trying something very different and I love the way you teach and thank you and I will be a very good student, promise! Blessings to you, Joanie
Wow, wow, your quilting black thread looks 😍 super. I'm so impressed with your wonderful work. So inspiring, I'll have to work hard to come up to your job. Good work 👏
I feel your anxiety. My si as ter came to my house one day & we cleaned my sewing room & last week I went to her house and we cleaned & organized her room. Now to keep them that way!
You got a great deal rotating cutting board those things are expensive. They are so nice to have. I have a little one and use it all the time.😊and light box is so nice to have. Very good deal.😊
I have never made a quilt as you go quilt because I was always a little intimidated. I don't have a design wall though and can't get in the floor anymore. Suggestions?
By FAR, the most informative purse making tutorial I’ve watched thus far, and I’ve watched at least 40!!! Your pace, encouragement and calm instruction are priceless!!! Thank you 😍
Thanks for the pattern and lesson. I have used PUL as a lining, but I didn't test the waterproof-ness and haven't gotten any feedback. This might work better.
Pool noodles are awesome! I drew a straight line on my noodles, using a chalk line, and then marked with a Sharpy., then pin away. Pool noodle where have you been all my life! Thank you for all the wonderful sewing lessons.
I love the scrappy, and that you used differ colours in each cube, not just three shares of 1 colour. By the way, for some quilting brains it is easier to split the hexies on the vertical seam instead of the diagonal. In which case just see columns.❤
