Well, she has no control over that, but I hated it too, so much that I pay $12 a month for RU-vid premium so I never have to watch ads (unless it’s a sponsored video, but at least I can fast forward through those.
I love Tracy’s channel & I get a lot of good content from it. So I figure the least I can do to show my appreciation is to watch the ads through so if it helps her keep putting out content for us, I’m all for it. Just a thought for her viewers.
Great tutorial, Tracy! I have a lot of trouble with negative space, and this was very helpful. Thanks for the inspiration! I needed something to work on for the 4th!!
Well Tracy .. i was thinking that ive never seen you do a table runner video. I loved this project and i hope you do more tutorials for table runners. Sometimes i only have time for small quick projects.
I'm working on a quilt right now that has several pieces of batting scraps, and it is very thin batting, so I added some extra flannel pieces for an extra layer. It is working out great. I also serge mine if I'm going to wash it prevents fraying.
Hello Tracy, Greetings from Germany. I really love your table runner. But regarding the binding I have a question. When you are lining up the stripes, right sides together, why are they not "fit on the point"? I mean , why do they have some Inches on the top and on the side? I am looking forward to your answer. Wsrm regards, Melanie
Great question! That bit of overhang will help with accuracy. Gives you something to "aim" at. Will ensure a perfect miter. If you tried to sew without the overhang you may have one seam allowance that is wonky🤷🏻♀️
My mum has that fabric in her stash also, in Australia 😮. No idea how old it is, but made me laugh. Did you mean nexus (maybe what you meant?) Love the wonky star runner. Hugs, Chel 🌸
Tracy, Absolutely loved this Table Runner, one of the points that really spoke to me was the way you explained your thought’s & reasoning for the size & placement of the table runner. Great into and made perfect sense! One of the reasons you are my fav!
Miss Tracy!!!! This turned out soooo cute! I have a feeling there will be more table runners in your future cause you knocked this one out of the park. I love it. Looks like I have a project for this weekend. Wahoo. Thanks so much for showing us how to make your first table runner masterpiece. Oh, and I watched closely this time and I’m going to try the 1.75” binding trick. Have a most awesome weekend. 🤗🥰🤗
I have one so that my table doesn't get scratched. I use it to put my salt and pepper shakers, gravy boat, vase, and candle on. I use matching placemats and coasters when it is meal time. When it's not meal time, the table runner just looks pretty x
