Hello! Please answer me. If I did O/A Levels what things do I have to submit? School transcript of secondary and high-school OR my official Cambridge certificates?
As of September 2023 the uk general dental council has confirmed that overseas registration examination will not be needed for the next 5 years for graduates wanting to practice in the uk if you have qualified in the Europe union.
How do i enter my final grades in the admissions form in the Secondary school section if i did A levels. It asks for a number out of something (possibly the GPA) and doesnt let me save the form if i dont enter anything. What do i do?
I come from a low-income family with only 5000 dollars per year, however, I got excellent achievements in academics. Do I have any priorities when I apply for the scholarship? My dad died when I was six so my mom was the only one working. I also have a younger sister. So if I don't get a full-ride scholarship I almost never get a chance to study aboard, especially at Bocconi.
Hi doc, I want to know if we BDS from India can practice directly in spain after completing the Degree or have to give license exam like NDEB or ORE of UK? Thank you!
A couple of changes since this webinar was recorded: 1. EU nationals can take the entrance exam for private medical schools in Italy online. 2. The GDC has confirmed recognition of EU dental qualifications for five further years. This is not quite enough for students starting this September or later but it is as clear an indication we can give you that everything should be OK.
We are regularly contacted by dental recruiters in the UK looking to hire our students. There is no problem getting good job offers. For other countries, we don't have the same network.
I graduated from High school in December 2022 , and I am now in my gap year. Can I apply to bocconi university and would a gap year affect my admission? And would I didn't have maths in my last two years. Am I qualified to apply or should I give my maths exams for 11th and 12th grade to be eligible for admission? I have 1400+ SAT score
There is no problem with having a Gap Year. You can apply without maths in your high school diploma. It might harm your chances of getting a place but if your SAT math score is strong, there is no reason why you shouldn't give it a go.
@@gm6275 cause I had already studied most of the stuff required for sath math in 9th and 10th grade and with few months of additional preparation I got that score.
The masters in accounting and auditing is taught in English too right? Also what would you say are my chances of getting the merit based scholarship if I graduate with an arithmetic score of 109/110
If you mean Accounting, Financial Management & Control then yes, it is taught in English. Chances of scholarships depend to a certain extent on the strength of other candidates as well as your own attributes. It is worth asking the question, however.
There is no answer to this question in the sense that there is a particular score that would guarantee entry. To a certain extent it depends on how strong your high school transcript is because that is equally important. A really strong transcript might mean a lower test score is acceptable. About 52:00 into this webinar we talk about this in more depth. It also depends on which programme you are wanting to study and how competitive that is. I could give you a number (and I do in the webinar) but it would be pointless without you getting the wider context.
Yes, the grades from your third to last and second to last year at school will be used. Your final year grades are not used even if you apply after you have left school.
@@astarfuture2025 So bocconi is not interested in the final IB DP grade? because in the last video regarding applying to Bocconi in 2022/23 the lady stated that the school was interested in a grade above 36/45.
@@Marco-wb4dd You should be on target for at least 36 in the IB but the grade itself will not be assessed. Your earlier academic record plus performance on the SAT/Bocconi test will be used to work out whether this is realistic. I appreciate this sounds a little strange but it is the only way to ensure fairness when students are applying with all sorts of different diplomas whose final results are know at different times.
@@Marco-wb4dd there is no one way to answer this question because all school systems are different. I would say that it is worth taking the SAT or Bocconi test in any case because your result here will give you a clearer indication as to whether you are competitive. The only other way I can answer this question is just to get the best grades that you can, which is not particularly insightful.
In most European countries, engineering degrees are split into distinct BSc and MSc qualifications. It is very common to find MSc degrees taught in English but less so at BSc level. There are some, however, at Technical University of Denmark and in Germany, as well as a larger number at private universities in Spain and Italy.
@@astarfuture2025 Thank you we are on that search looking for an Undergraduate Engineering course outside of the UK and Ireland. If you can direct me to the higher ranked ones I would really appreciate it.
Does anyone know what kind of grade transcript would be considered good? I do A levels, would A*AAA in my finals and a good SAT score give me a good chance?
There is no answer to this question. It depends on the competition and the programme you are applying to and these can both vary from year to year. It is extremely competitive so statistically, your chances are very small and it would be unwise to assume that you would get merit-based aid. All I can suggest is that you give it a go but there is no number that could serve as a reliable guide.
Hi! I believe that you can choose the language in which you will be taking the test based on if you want to pusue your degree either in italian or in english. However I am not able to answer your last question since I am not an international student. :)
You cad take the test in either language. The reason why SATs are better is not as true as it once was. The Bocconi test in as "Italian" test designed by an Italian company and this meant that international students often found it harder to understand than the more standard SAT. Last year, the Bocconi test changed to become more like the SAT (which means more maths!). Be careful that you don't prepare for it using older materials. Another reason the SAT might be seen as better is that you can use it for applying to multiple universities whereas you can't use the Bocconi test for any other university.
This is possible but extremely rare. You would need to have an excellent academic record. It is far more likely that you would receive a partial, academic scholarship or nothing at all. There is no way to know this in advance because you will only be evaluated for your suitability after submitting an application. You will also be compared to all other candidates applying at the same time.
Of course! The early session is particularly popular with international students who have Bocconi as their first choice university. If you are thinking of applying for 2023, you might want to see our more recent webinar which is available here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3CZj9ZlfIaM.html
I would be happy to. Please email mark@astarfuture.co.uk with more information about your academic background. Several schools are full already for 2022 but we might still have some places.
@@mariahadji4157 Yes, biology and chemistry are the only two compulsory subjects. Your combination is actually the most typical. If you want to email me on mark@astarfuture.co.uk with your certificates I can check this for sure.
I understand what she say about working part-time while studying but what if back home we use to do freelance online work to help us save money for our study aboard is it OK to continue it in italy???
We can usually consider Canadian students with a high school diploma but most have already completed a Bachelor's degree even if it isnt strictly necessary. You are welcome to email mark@astarfuture.co.uk for an opinion on your qualifications.
Is 1310 with 750 in math can give a chance or is it better to take the Bocconi test. I know that it really depends with the other factors that matters but can you try to apply with this score
As you already point out, there is no definite answer to your question but I would certainly advise you to try to improve your English SAT or take the Bocconi test.
