Fabulous new designs! and I hope you feel better soon. Love your Puppy barking every so often, just made it very real and funny! Good girl guarding the house. Take it easy ! blessings to you and yours.
Hope you get feeling better soon! Love the new designs! Just finished stitching Hannah Rome, what a joy! Loved the silks. Looking forward to more lovely designs from you!
Good video! Nice to have included your husbands. I like to collect the vintage hoops also, got a Dutchess and a Princess at a garage sale last week for $2.00! They are around! I also stitched Women of the Mayflower, years ago when the magazine came out. I need to get it framed it’s been in a box too long!
Bob and I watched your FT together . We really have a great time together . Our hubbies totally enjoy each others company too. Always fun to plan another time to get together .❤
Hi Lisa and Sylvia and hubbies, Loved the intro and the likes and dislikes. Tell Rob I am using his “Kitchen repair” on my husband. Haha. It is scary with the way IG and our websites can be hacked. I want people to be conscious of who they sell patterns to on Ebay, Stash Unload and other sites. This is how patterns end up on sites for free. The pattern is purchased by someone who then downloads to the sites. Biggest indicator of this is if there is a shipping company who is a secondary purchaser. I only learned of this through my daughter who is more aware of the pitfalls of shipping. Love all your antiquing finds. Question about waxing threads. I have heard people advise caution in using as it could over time darken threads. What do you think? I need to come visit your area. Wonderful video. Hugs, Tereas😊
Yes, and it’s what the Russian ladies have to do. They have to buy through a friend or a shipper. It’s really hard to keep it out of the hands of those who don’t respect copyright. Sad anyways, I don’t know about the colors darkening overtime, but maybe that’s offsets the fading.🤷🏻♀️
Loved this flosstube with the hubs! To Lisa’s husband - I was lucky enough to know an astronaut when I was a pre teen (many years ago). The young son of Edward George Gibson was my brothers best friend. I got an autographed picture of planet earth from him. Still have it. Fun video Sylvia and Lisa! Love when you girls are together!
Such fun you both can get together with your hubby’s as well. Love your finds to add to stitching finishes. Blessings and happy stitching, plus friendship time.
Good video, ladies ... fun and informative! Hope you all enjoyed the eclipse. Sylvia, I have a question for you. I'd like to give the Kai bent handle scissors a try, but when I visited their website they showed two versions, a blunt tip and a very sharp tip. Which do you have? (Yours might have a design number on the side of the blade.) This stitching advice from a professional frogger cannot be ignored! 😂 Safe travels to Europe!
Hi Sandy, it’s so good to hear from you. I hope you are well, and that you guys are still enjoying going camping. This is the scissor I bought. kaiscissors.com/product/kai-5100b-4-inch-bent-handle-scissors/. Take care!
@@runningwithneedlesscissors2158 Yes, all is good and we are still enjoying camping. I have already purchased and started using the straight blade 4" Kai scissors (like yours) and I absolutely LOVE them!!! Now to order the bent-handle scissors. So excited to give them a try, too. Can one have too many scissors? I don't think so! 😂 Thanks so much, Sylvia!
I have really nice scissors, but these are my everyday, go to ones. They cut beautifully! We will be joining you in the camping life when Rob retires ( we still have a bit to go).
@@runningwithneedlesscissors2158 Same here on the scissors. I own some very nice ones, but I have been using this new Kai scissor nonstop since it arrived. It is so sharp I actually have to be careful with them. I love that you and Rob will be joining the camping life! Of course you two are already worldwide travelers, so you guys will pick it up quickly. There was a rather steep learning curve for us though. 😂 We have upgraded to an Airstream now and love it.
Hello. I’m also from that group and some of us has friends abroad, who can buy things for us, and still it’s lots of buyers all over the world who can help, but of course we should wait some months our purchases to reach us. Not only people from “our countries “ share charts , for example it’s already some new from Nashville , for us it’s impossible to post it, as from purchase to hold the chart we should wait 6-12 weeks.
Hi:) i am a member of this Russian group and live in Norway. Many Russians live in another countries and can be the member of these group:) and I was one of them that visited this link after it was shared with us:) it was strange to read after this that you were thinking it is hacker attack :) thanks for apologizing ❤️ you have wonderful designs.
Yes, do please post the lily bit Christmas ornament if possible. This video was so inspiring. Well except for the cooking. If there is anything I hate It's a kitchen!
Love listening to you! Regarding the over-stitching, I’d remove it and chart it as the original. What fun that you and “Lady Huzzah” will be together for the eclipse! And your trip sounds fabulous! Enjoy!
Thank you for sharing your faith studies. I signed up for Bible Recap…listened to the intro videos and ran out and bought an ESV Bible (I’ve been using NIV) and a journal. I’m in the middle of Hosanna Wong’s book… 3 more chapters to go. And then I’ll start Bible Recap! I’m so excited! God used you to smack me in the head… I needed it! AND I love your stitching too 🥰
Thought I'd submitted a comment but maybe it ended up on someone else's video, yikes! I am so excited about the piece for the Tudor Rose SAL. I vote to remove the extra stitching from the antique sampler. I'm so curious about what the original looked like; I love the muted look of faded threads, but my mom loved bright colors and the overstitching reminds me of something she might have done to make an old piece more appealing to her eye. I'm so envious of your upcoming trip! We are going to England later this year and looking forward to hearing a review of what you find interesting.
I love BSF. John was one of my favorite studies I did years ago. For various reasons it didn’t work for me to participate this year. Have a wonderful trip! ❤
Hi Sylvia, great video. I need help on two big samplers. I need fabric for Rose Wreath by Gigi R and when you do a Bristol Red Sampler is it matter color of fabric. Doing this with Vicki Clayton old maid. They are so big like a zweigart or legacy linen. Thanks
I really like Vintage Country Mocha, it looks great with red. I have Louisa Coulimore half way done using Old Maid and VCM. My absolute fave is tea dyed cafe au lait by Zweigart. ❤️.
Such an amazing video, Sylvia!! I loved seeing everything you showed. Beautiful stitching and samplers! The Samplerbird Stitchery scissor fob is absolutely amazing!!!! I rarely used scissor fobs as I found them too heavy and bulky. However hers is just perfect!!! I was so worried that I wouldn’t be able to put it together but her instructions were excellent and spot on. I haven’t taken it off my scissors since putting it on and it has saved my scissors from going down the couch multiple times. Definitely stitch it up and whip it together! She has just the right amount of beads and filler to put it all together!! Worth every penny! ❤
Hi Sylvia, Oh my good ness that sampler for Tudor Rose is just stunning. I am in!!!! That will be stunning. I love the verse. For your overstitched sampler I would see what Barbara from Queenstown advises. I would be afraid of ruining the threads pulling the over stitching out. ❤ Enjoyed the whole video and hearing about your Bible recap and Sourdough. I would like to make sourdough one day. Right now-life is just too busy. Stitch on! Hugs, Teresa
Watched your video and had a “visit” with you as I stitched in the wee hours tonight . Thoroughly enjoyed it and so happy that you have had a bit of time to do personal stitching . I also love your finishes that you showed . Thanks for the shout out too! Can’t wait for our visit ❤
I appreciate you love of Jeanette Douglas!! She is BRILLIANT!!! No one can design the way she does! I LOVED the last pattern of hers you showed! Sorry, I'd have to back the video up to be able to name it, I will do that because it will go on my Wishlist! Thank you for sharing about her!
So glad you had helpers to set up your room, and were able to see other designers rooms. Love the F&R Inca and especially the Dust Bunny. Great WDW colors. Cute items by Les secrets de Marie. Nice BBD booklet. Nice charts, love them, especially Teresa Kogut!! Awww poor dried thyme. lol
Love your new releases Sylvia! What sn accomplishment charting, stitching and researching the big sampler. It would be so interesting knowing more about its provenance.
Hi Roberta, thank you. It would be great if there was a way to find out more. Unfortunately when the stitcher just leaves us with initials, it’s just not possible.
@@runningwithneedlesscissors2158 …. I’ll ask the ladies at the Stitch Niche to grab one for me 😊 Thank You for allllll of the gorgeous work that you do. If I ever find a sampler in my Antiquing I’m gonna buy it and try to see if I can preserve it …. I adore samplers ❤️
We enjoyed watching you present your Market Pieces. They are beautiful . Wishing you much success. I loved the dogs playing with their toys in the background ! I’m always willing to help in whatever way I can . ❤
Beautiful and creative work! The large sampler is just stunning and I do love the verse and your testimony of the faithfulness of our Savior. Love seeing the support of your sweet husband. Great success to you at Market.
