Thank you for sharing your faith studies. I signed up for Bible Recap…listened to the intro videos and ran out and bought an ESV Bible (I’ve been using NIV) and a journal. I’m in the middle of Hosanna Wong’s book… 3 more chapters to go. And then I’ll start Bible Recap! I’m so excited! God used you to smack me in the head… I needed it! AND I love your stitching too 🥰
Love listening to you! Regarding the over-stitching, I’d remove it and chart it as the original. What fun that you and “Lady Huzzah” will be together for the eclipse! And your trip sounds fabulous! Enjoy!
Watched your video and had a “visit” with you as I stitched in the wee hours tonight . Thoroughly enjoyed it and so happy that you have had a bit of time to do personal stitching . I also love your finishes that you showed . Thanks for the shout out too! Can’t wait for our visit ❤
Such an amazing video, Sylvia!! I loved seeing everything you showed. Beautiful stitching and samplers! The Samplerbird Stitchery scissor fob is absolutely amazing!!!! I rarely used scissor fobs as I found them too heavy and bulky. However hers is just perfect!!! I was so worried that I wouldn’t be able to put it together but her instructions were excellent and spot on. I haven’t taken it off my scissors since putting it on and it has saved my scissors from going down the couch multiple times. Definitely stitch it up and whip it together! She has just the right amount of beads and filler to put it all together!! Worth every penny! ❤
I love BSF. John was one of my favorite studies I did years ago. For various reasons it didn’t work for me to participate this year. Have a wonderful trip! ❤
Yes, do please post the lily bit Christmas ornament if possible. This video was so inspiring. Well except for the cooking. If there is anything I hate It's a kitchen!
Thought I'd submitted a comment but maybe it ended up on someone else's video, yikes! I am so excited about the piece for the Tudor Rose SAL. I vote to remove the extra stitching from the antique sampler. I'm so curious about what the original looked like; I love the muted look of faded threads, but my mom loved bright colors and the overstitching reminds me of something she might have done to make an old piece more appealing to her eye. I'm so envious of your upcoming trip! We are going to England later this year and looking forward to hearing a review of what you find interesting.
Hi Sylvia, great video. I need help on two big samplers. I need fabric for Rose Wreath by Gigi R and when you do a Bristol Red Sampler is it matter color of fabric. Doing this with Vicki Clayton old maid. They are so big like a zweigart or legacy linen. Thanks
I really like Vintage Country Mocha, it looks great with red. I have Louisa Coulimore half way done using Old Maid and VCM. My absolute fave is tea dyed cafe au lait by Zweigart. ❤️.
Hi Sylvia, Oh my good ness that sampler for Tudor Rose is just stunning. I am in!!!! That will be stunning. I love the verse. For your overstitched sampler I would see what Barbara from Queenstown advises. I would be afraid of ruining the threads pulling the over stitching out. ❤ Enjoyed the whole video and hearing about your Bible recap and Sourdough. I would like to make sourdough one day. Right now-life is just too busy. Stitch on! Hugs, Teresa
