Thank you for making a video about this. After my pack died I started doing everything manually because it wouldn't charge. I was just searching to buy a replacement till something told me to look up a video about it. Thanks for creating this video.
Ok guys, I’ve had this with TWO batteries. I put them in the charger, the big light stays on and the small light stays on indicating a problem with the batteries. I ordered TWO brand new batteries, plug them in and what? The exact same lights came on. So I had 4 batteries that wouldn’t charge. I ordered a new charger and what? The new batteries charged well AND the old batteries charged within 20 mins. So now I had 4 fully working batteries. The problem here was the charger not the batteries and it was giving off misleading lights
You could have plugged to the wall outlet AFTER connecting to the battery, then you don’t have to worry about cross touching the two battery connectors.
Hi, At the front of the Legend Force Rear Tiller there is a long spring that is wrapped around a metal cable. The spring in my tiller came undone. I'm trying to figure where connects to on both ends? Could you send me a picture of the spring and where it connects at both ends please?
I've given up on Dewalt due to their shockingly bad reliability of their flexvolt batteries. I have a living to make I can't be messing about with batteries. Ive replaced my entire tool set with the makita 40v battery system. The flex volt battery isn't fit for use
Interesting video ! I would like to install this hitch on my Outlander. I have same spare tire rack as yours but put regular tire on it. Do you think this hitch will fit with the regular tire in the rack?
I think it would be close depending on how much larger your standard size tire is versus the spare tire that usually sits there. If you measure the diameter of the tire and then Google the Curt Class III hitch, it should give you the width so you can determine if it can fit.
Just watched your video and wondering if when you run or roll the tiller are both tires connected and it feels like when you turn specially on the hard surface like concrete that both axles or tires are both turning like locked posi. Is that how your tiller is? Thanks in advance.
Wheels are locked with a pin and the motor drives them when you hit the forward or reverse levers. If you take the pins out and slide the wheels in, then they are free-rolling and the motor doesn't drive them.
Thank you. Mine doesn't have the sliding wheels so that are in the locked position. So when you push in neutral you feel the resistance of the transmission. That must be why they made the sliding axle. Again thanks for your reply.@@DIYMaistor
Good video, but since you have a three conductor plus ground cable, per the NEC you are required to install a 4 prong receptacle and 4 wire cord, following the instructions on the dryer to remove the strap or wire that bonds the chassis to neutral. The 3 prong receptacle and cord is still permitted under the exception where the supply wiring had only three wires, whether that be SEU cable with two hots and a bare neutral, very old NM with a black. red and white with no ground, or two wire plus ground NM, and the practice of grounding the chassis to neutral was banned as of the 1996 NEC because it was less safe than a modern 4 wire setup with an insulated neutral and separate ground, for if the neutral were to open, corrode or otherwise develop a high resistance (aluminum wiring is notorious for such issues) the chassis can be energized to as much as 120V relative to ground, and combined with a damp basement floor, washing machine & perhaps laundry sink nearby, the dryer could be the last thing you ever touch. Be safe and follow the most recent NEC, the several hundreds of pages in a NEC code book weren't written just for the fun of it.
