Brilliant! I had the exact same issue with the wiring! Garage said I needed a complete strut with vds (£280 plus labour) watched your video, ran to the car, connected the broken wire, started thr car, error gone! LEGEND!!
The manual says you need to keep the steering wheel straight, is that once you’ve loosened the bolts? I hear some people have wonky steering after doing this job. Want to avoid that if at all possible. Cheers
Turbo was ok on this guy, they collect a lot of oil when it condensates in the intercooler because of the poor design in the crank case breather. LR decided to put a filter in the crank case breather which is prone to blocking up - when BMW only needed a vortex breather which works perfectly fine. So we always fit a BMW breather in place of the LR unit.
Got Restricted Performance message on dash but with no error codes. Checked for splits in the pipe and yes tiny split apparent. Thanks for posting this really helpful video. You have a new subscriber.
Don’t know got it from the petrol station In a 25 litre bottle witch is anoying because my add blue tank is 16 litres not 25 And someone told me DO NOT OVER FILL THE TANK it will not start and don’t let it be completely empty it won’t start as well
Im having the issue where the gear selector is in park but not showing park on the display...is this the fix? its an absolute nut ache as we have to apply pressure on the selector to get it to start or get the key out
Great video, thanks. Also the MUSIC is so loud and distracting yoiur voice is very hard to hear and understand. Just so you know from a retired guy with the same vehicle issue.
Author, as you seen to know a lot can you share the part and expected labor on a front right suspension dropping. Will I need a condenser or also a strut? What’s the labor, parts? Is a RR tool needed to reset?
