Always advise fitting a new branded dual mass flywheel when replacing the clutch on a TD5 Defender or Discovery.
We don’t advise solid flywheels as they produce excess vibration into the cabin.

On a 300Tdi i got there is a knocking and rattling noise similar to a bell 🔔 being tapped gently but intermittently by a hammer 🔨 .
