mpc x, bough it because i was buying too much audio stuff and if i bough this mpcx , then i wouldnt have any reason to buy something else. It pretty much does everything. I also wanted a tool that would let me more touch the beat instead of clicking it on my screen.
Hi Jef. Your videos are always very interesting. I have an extra question if you can help me?. I have a problem with a plugin that to sound realistic has an original delay that puts it out of sync when it is together with other rhythmic sequences. In some programs there is the possibility of a parameter that gives the possibility of inserting a negative delay supporting the compensation of the delay plugin. Is there a parameter of this type on Maschine 2? I can't find it. Thanks
I'm Fizz, not sure if this comment was meant for someone else, but we have an option for delay compensation in Maschine. We to to be mindful on cpu intensive plugins that might cause timeshifting within our individual tracks.
With all the updates, is maschine+ worth the upgrade from an mk3? I already know its not worth running too many plugins standalone, but i figured sampled libraries are better for standalone, for the moments i cant always bring my whole setup with me.
You give some nice examples. At this point I am extremely skeptical of any claims made by any plugin vendor. The proof is in the real world application, and what I hear in the examples you give is some upper frequency lift, but nothing that other plugins don't give. I reckon I would get equal results by a combination of EQ and compression. It's interesting, for sure, and the price is aimed at the beginner, but I'd hope anyone starting out would learn to sculp their sound using more controllable methods. Yeah, very useful video!
Nice. Love the emphasis on simplicity. Also, great to see you work with things that are easily available, like super 8. So many videos selling new plugs that may actually complicate workflows when you are trying to move quick on a beat.
The older model was $59 and the newer model is $99. Got a great deal on the older model. Also since then, Zoom have released H1 XLR, which would be perfect as i don't need onboard mics i prefer to use a boom mic set-up
Hey bro I just got mine but why I dont have options like choose the melody? I want to play single notes but its only playing patterns but i camt chsnge the pattern option like you
You are shilling hard dude. There is no reason to upgrade to the maschine plus, which is too slow as a standalone. You gave zero point zero good reasons to change to a maschine with less capabilities and far less dedicated buttons to accomplish tasks. The Studio blows away the Plus, and you know it. But because you are a shill, you are trying to act as basically a guitar center sales associate. Pushing product. Just stop. You are not even a good shill.
Thanks for your feedback. You don't need to necessarily upgrade to Maschine plus, but the mk3 will do. The workflow, the added touchstrip, as well as the interface is a huge plus. The Maschine Studio is still a great unit although it does not have the interface. I've always found it to be bulky. Different folks, different strokes
When he says play the patterns a little ahead of the beat, he means that you should move from chord to chord with the same timing as you would with a real guitar and not with piano playing timing. If you play guitar, you know what I'm talking about. The instrument does not lag or need time to catch up. It is designed that way to create a more realist sound from chord to chord. If you're doing it correctly, you'll hear all the little nuances, like the fingers sliding across the strings in between chords. Great video!
