What does it mean when you Jumpstart the battery for 20 mins( lites come on) but not even a clicking sound when turning on ignition. The Car part store said that because I bought my battery new from them in Sept 2021, that it has now; "expired." I have never heard of that. They suggest I buy a new $200 battery from them. I did not tap my starter because its too hard to reach;2006 Honda CRV. Any suggestions?
Thank you for making this video. I was wondering, what if I have 3 white wires and 3 black wires, can I combine 2 wires to share one screw and have the 3rd wire connected to the other screw? Thank you
you didn't close up the wire loops around the screws before tightening them up. Since you were taking the screws off the old outlet, I wouldn't have widened the wire loops. I would have taken the screws off the new outlet and put the new screw through the wire loop and then screw it down. The way you did it leaves a greater chance for the wires to come loose or completely off when you have to twist the outlet around and push it back in the box. The more wire you can grab with the screw the better. That is why it was looped so tightly in the first place. Just an observation.
? Do the battery have to be disconnected when banging on the starter with hammer I thought u have to have somebody turn the key while u bang on the starter
Since we don’t all have three hands, you should put something to cushion the metal arm in case you accidentally let go or need to set it down. God forbid it gets away from you and cracks the glass.
As I was working on my sons derby car last weekend I had kind of a horrible thought. I remembered last year in my sons cub scouts seeing some of the little ones racing the block of wood with no cuts or shape. I started thinking about this last weekend and I felt sick to my stomach, as I’m cutting the body with my 12” miter saw.. Because I know there are little guys that don’t have their fathers around to help or to build their car. They had to do it on their own. And there is no way they were going to win. The thought of it all just made me think about those kids. It’s kind of a metaphor for life. Anyways I didn’t mean to be a downer. Good tips man.

You will only need the one wire on each side. It works the same. Two wires means that it’s connecting to another outlet down line. One wire means you are at the end of the line.

That's a very old trick to free up a sticking solenoid. That's not something you want to keep relying on, though. That's a "I'm going straight to the auto parts store to buy a new or reman unit and I'm gonna leave it running while inside" saving grace!

Ya happened to me in rain this am. Tapped it with hammer lol weak start but started lol 😆at 830 Am. Forked out 100.bucks at auto zone for starter now I'm back on the rd again 😆🤣😂...I'm happy 😊again see yas
