I have been staying at cosmo for the past 10 years or so. Still the best hotel in vegas. I prefer boulevard tower since its close to restaurants. Easy to run downstairs for a quick bite in the morning and to go across the street if needed. However the new bridge connecting to bellagio and vdara is very convenient as well. Question, does mgm rewards credit card holders get priority check in and have you seen if they have express line for wicked spoon for credit card holders as well? However i have to knock the free drinks that they give while gambling. Now that it is mgm, waitresses do not have bartenders in the back making the drinks for them. Its all done by machine and ive had very inconsistent or just down right bad drinks. But its free so ill still drink it lol
I haven’t had a chance to see Cosmo’s treatment for MGM credit card yet. But it’s safe to assume they’ll treat it as MGM’s 1st Tier properties - Bellagio and Aria both offer expedited line for MGM Credit Card holders. In terms of Wicked Spoon, they offered VIP line for MGM Rewards Platinum members for the past year…it wasn’t on any sign but they’ve honored it. My guess is they’ll mirror whatever Bellagio Buffet is currently doing - I haven’t had Bellagio Buffet in about ten years 😅
MGM Rewards Credit Card holders give you automatic Pearl Status which never expire. You do get priority check in and free parking at all MGM properties.
@@1takesituation No. VIP line access is only for what used to be Identity Gold and up. I have the MGM Credit card and it does not give you VIP Access. The only other way to skip the line is to make reservations but you have to have a party of 8 or more. BTW we were just in Vegas a few days ago and we were in room 4235 which is right next door. We stayed in an Studio Terrace Angle room. It also has two bathrooms and is located in the Chelsea Tower where it angles. There are only one per floor and you cannot book them on line. They are so called 'Secret rooms' that you have to know about to book them. 760 square feet, extra long terrace, two sets of closets and one of the bathrooms has the Japanese Soaking tub. Guaranteed fountain view. Angle rooms are larger than One bedroom/Terrace rooms but smaller than the Terrace Suite that you are in.

I've stayed in 36001 twice and the suite, even though same floorplan as 29 - 35, is far superior on 36 because of about 4 extra feet of ceiling height. It makes a HUGE difference, and the arch windows are a bonus. I think 36002& 36020 are standard rooms/non suites. 36002 would be sandwiched between the room you show here and the 2 bedroom grand lakeview 36001. They are really great way to score the posh suite floors at a standard rate.
Yes! This is great info. I hope I conveyed the message in this video that the only true Penthouse is the 36th floor so please try your best to get the 36th floor if you’re booking “penthouse” rooms because those arch windows and high ceilings make the experience special-special. Also, 36002 is a standard two bed resort room but with high ceiling and arch window as shown in this video, but it’s been renovated and they took the tub away. However, folks, request for this room when checking in…it might be tricky to get but in Vegas, it never hurts to ask. Thank you for watching and sharing your inside scoops!

I got 4 nights comped Excalibur and dont even gamble 😂 free $50 F/P and R/C. Then heading the Rio for 2 nights comped as they are matching MGM with resorts fee comped . Paying 2 noghts downtown. Then final night MyVegas comp at Park MGM . Fly back the uk . 9 nights $290 total for rooms and resort fees 9 night stay. Yes they are lower level properties but i'm never in the room . 3am to 10am sleeping 😴.
And it’s trendy to “complain” that Vegas is too expensive nowadays. Yes, Vegas does not offer the $1 crappy buffets or the $3 steak n eggs (I did LOVE these lol) but it could still be an incredible destination value when done the “ Vegas” way like your itinerary. The price at a random motel by the freeway is about $100-$125 a night nowadays, so this is amazing value! Do you play MyVegas Blackjack? I once turned 150k BJ chips into 35mil BJ chips in one playing session of about an hour, which I thought was an amazing run. Then I lost it all the next morning trying to turn it into 100mil lol This morning, I turned 150k chips into 130mil. I’m wondering, is this a good run for MyVegas BJ? I ask cause I don’t know anyone else who plays, but looks like you might play it

From what I am seeing now on the identity website it states that MGM will double your existing points that you currently have with Cosmo I am currently gold almost platinum with 47,000 points therefore I should transfer to MGM as gold Am I correct
Correct. MGM is at least making some concession and volunteering 2X identity to MGM Rewards point conversion. Your situation is the sweet spot however technically MGM should offer 3x. I break down why this is as my anticipatory calculation in this video which still holds true. But, you will get Gold as the understanding in their latest email info release. 😊
Hello - the couches did not pull out. Most MGM properties offer roll-in beds. I’ve asked upon checkin if they could provide a courtesy roll-in beds a few times before and they’ve hooked it up. They may charge but it doesn’t hurt to ask for a courtesy one 😂
Still want to know what mgm / identity merge (im gold identity) is going to be on 31 July… coming vegas 30th June to enjoy bogof wicked spoon. Just says 1-1 at the mo which means pearl - but now saying a one off tier points adjustment 30 July 23 to 29 July 2024. What does this mean? MGM aren’t stupid, or maybe they are, or incredibly arrogant and all about the cash. If I lose out, il simply not stay Cosmo or mgm. Caesars 10x multiplier is back end aug - so only 1,500 dollar spend will get you diamond. But come on MGM, surely you are losing a lot of customers by the total lack of info! And fyi - great video! I’m staying bellagio 3 nights and Cosmo 2 (my free companion nights!) nights so will check out the walkway!

MGM released more detailed information at the time of the original announcement before their original merge date got cancelled. Now MGM is being more careful with sharing information for the current merge July date announcement. It’s odd that MGM is currently offering tier matching but not to Cosmo Identity. I think your Identity Gold will be converted into MGM Gold because of the alignment of their benefits. You’re right, MGM is not stupid, and yes, they are arrogant, but for the most part, they have always been relatively fair…unlike Caesars. But yes, we ought to take advantage of Caesars 10x multipliers! But I wouldn’t leave MGM to exclusively dance with Caesars. For 99% of us non-Whales, we’re better off with MGM as our main dish, and Caesars as a side dish. It sounds like, since you’ve booked Bellagio and Cosmo for the end of June, you currently have status with both MGM and Cosmo, and you’re doing the right thing by using up all the Identity Gold benefits such as comp companion nights. I’m doing a Cosmo and MGM trip in a few weeks so I’ll try to scoop up more info so please stay tuned!
Totally agree with all! And yep read the review, just subscribed! Keep them coming. Will see what updates they have in 3 weeks. I’m hoping it’s gold as the resort fee waiver is a winner and the upgrade if available. although absolute worse case, il just status match to gold if not as have platinum wynn (I’m lowly 21,000 pearl at the mo) - even if it means no more bogof wicked spoon / fast track entry! Guess we will find out soon what the one time tier adjustment is! Last question - what room do you prefer? The Cosmo or the fountain view bellagio room!?
I will also miss the BOGO Wicked Spoon perk - whenever I want free WS, I’d go and pick someone from the back of the long line and make them an offer that I could get them straight to the front of the line and not wait hours…but the catch is that I’ll be eating with them. 😂 There is murmur with my Cosmo intel that this merge might not happen until end of this year. Which room do I prefer? Cosmo Chelsea Terrace 1 Bedroom with Fountian View on floors in the 50s are my favorite “regular” rooms. I now prefer Chelsea because it has better view angles to The Sphere and the Bellagio/Aria bridge is right by its elevators. The balcony open air and couch cannot be matched by any Bellagio room. I love falling asleep in the balcony couch. (99% of Cosmo Wraparound rooms do not have this balcony couch for some reason) I have a series of Bellagio videos - Please watch and ask all the questions you’d like. 😊
And so the Cosmo / MGM email received! Double points for period 30 July 23 - 29 July 2024. My email says 24,000 plus 24,000 one time adjustment so 48,000 - as expected, pearl. I guess the one question I have is, do I remain at 48,000 for the remainder of the tier point collection year (ending 31 December 2024) - therefore, do I only need 27,000 more points to get to gold MGM. I’m assuming that is the case, but not 100% clear in the email. Il ask the identity desk when I’m there in two weeks. I think you also will earn double identity / tier points too - do say a 250 bucks meal = x 5 identity points = 1250, and that would double again, so I reckon will be an easy 10k more points il easily earn on this trip in a few weeks! I’m guessing you’ve got platinum at least!?

However they should offer at least a 1 to 3, Identity to MGM Rewards tier points if they want to align it more fairly for the Cosmo folks. For details why this is, and I put forth an anticipatory plan in my MGM-Cosmo Merge video 6-8 months ago…and I’m better off now because I followed this plan. 😮 Yes, platinum at both property.
I usually stay and play at the Aria and have used a host once there. I’ve been getting a little bored of the Aria though and wanted to go to the Bellagio next time. I’ve been there before and liked it. I get MGM corporate offers all the time and I could just use my corporate offer when I book at the Bellagio but I wanted to try reaching out to a host/marketing executive and see if I booked directly through him or her if they could sweeten my deal a little bit. I emailed 2 people at the Bellagio, told them what I just said and even gave them my MGM rewards number so they could look me up in their system, although they could have looked me up just by my email. Anyway, both of them ignored me. I guess I’ll just forget about the host and use the corporate offer or I suppose I could stay at the Aria. Like I said, I do have a host there and they at least like me enough to comp me a Sky Suite while I’m there.
Hosts are able to book hotels outside of their home base within the MGM Resorts property roster, so try reaching out to your Aria host. If not, at least you’ve got standing offers to fall back on.
