It’s made from black, pebbled leather with tons of character, and I love it! The only thing is that it feels a bit dry - like it needs a drink. First owner received it in a mystery box and only stored. Do you think I should condition it before I start using it?
Hi! Congratulations on your new bag! I recently got a black pebbled tote and really love it and how squishy it is! Yes, I feel like it’s worth a shot conditioning it if you feel like it’s dry, I don’t see how it would hurt it!! Let me know how it goes!
I worked on 23rd for a few years, down by Gleason. It’s still a nice place to walk/shop/nosh, but it was so much better before all the owners outpriced so many of the small businesses with insane lease hikes; a bunch of boring chains replaced them. Kinda need to cross the river and go to Mississippi Ave for that local shopping vibe, now.

Hi! Thank you for your suggestion! Looking into it and with my previous experiences with luggages with front pockets, I don’t tend to like them because it takes up interior space and I tend to be a heavy packer 😬 as well as it doesn’t hold the laptop accessories which takes up even more interior space. thanks again for your suggestion and if anything else interesting and new comes out or if I change my mind, I’d love to look into reviewing other items!!
Girl, I know you agreed. That is why you are suggesting the padding. That is why my comment is, for this bag so expensive, it should not hurt someone’s shoulder or LV should should throw one of this padding. For people who wants to buy this bag, look at reviews and assess if it is really worth your money. I am sure there are other luxury bags that the straps are not too thin for the size and they won’t dig into a person’s shoulder 😁

I recommend joining the Facebook Portland Leather Goods Insiders group- the admins usually post upcoming sales and new releases weekly! I also try to mention it on my channel when there’s an upcoming sale too! When there is a c grade sale (a few times per year), it’s usually under the almost perfect section and it can be hard to find on their website- the admins in the group will usually post a direct link like 30 minutes before the release of the sale and just FYI, the sale usually sales out in a few minutes-45mins tops I feel! I hope that’s helpful!! ☺️
Hi- some of their descriptions say YKK zippers and other products are nonspecific. I’ll check all my bags when I get back home and let you know if all of mine are!
@sandradeguire299 - my PLG items With YKK zippers are all sizes of my totes, regular Lola, crossbody totes, and large Bozemann wallet. The ones without YKK (zipper says g2) are: taco, eclipse, makeup pouch, and all of my rainstorms. I double checked my order history and it’s a mixture of AP and premium items throughout and doesn’t correlate with YKK. Despite the items not being all YKK, I haven’t had any issues with zippers yet. Hope this helps!

I’ve been lusting over the Avery for a couple of years now, but I just can’t pull the trigger due to cost. When I make my perfect bag, it comes out to $300, and I just cannot do that price. Thank you for showing this- the leather looks beautiful! I will say, I don’t like either of those closures, personally. My fave bag closure is the magnetic snaps. That long strap for the snap- can you let us know if it gets in the way? I love the Jane! I think if I do get a bag, I’ll go for a Jane over the Avery! Great video, thanks again!
Hi!! I agree- customization adds up SOO quick and makes the bags quite $$$ so I’m waiting for the next sale before I place another order!! I agree that magnetic snaps are soo handy- hence why I love my PLG metros!! I recommend checking those bags out if you haven’t already, although they are smaller than the Avery/Jane. So far the long strap hasn’t gotten in the way and I’ve been loving my Avery! I plan on making a review after I’ve been using the bags for a bit (I’ve used them everyday since I unboxed them so far and have truly enjoyed them!!) thanks for stopping by ❤️❤️❤️☺️

Just a recommendation from someone who was born and raised in NYC, the mace should ALWAYS be at the ready for any moment! If you have to look for it then it won’t serve the purpose. 😂
@@savvyladyreviews I kept mine in my hand discreetly and unlocked for the ready as I was walking the streets, commuting to and from the subway. Sadly, it was for this reason that I finally relocated to Florida. I had just about enough of the craziness!
