The Boetie pm is so cute! I was actually torn between getting the speedy 25 and Boetie but I felt it was a bit smaller so I went with the trusty Speedy! I also don't know if it matters to you (I feel you should get whatever bag you'll use most and ENJOY the most) but I feel like the Speedy bandouliere would also keep the value more than the Boetie, esp as LV keeps releasing and discontinuing so many styles and I feel like Boetie may eventually be discontinued. Thanks for showing the on the body. I’m looking for a more casual everyday mommy & toddler bag so I’ll be going with the b30. I like the size & look more of the b25 but if I need my things plus for my toddler like wipes, epipen, snacks, etc I think the b25 is too small. So if I’m just doing for me I plan on eventually getting the b20 or nano as well. I have a good amount of bags but not a good sized everyday crossbody bag. I have chanel flaps which are too small for all that.

Hi! I love having both the monogram and DE, in addition to the speedy 30 and 25. I actually use the 30 more often purely because I keep the 25 at my mom's house out of state. No regrets on buying both as the speedy is one of my favorite bags!! One thing to consider is if you are wanting a larger bag, go with the speedy. If you want a smaller bag, consider the speedy 20! I just wanted to come back and say this video was so incredibly helpful for me! Thank you for doing such a great comparison! I decided to get the 30 after watching this video and it was exactly what I needed (previously I had been planning to get the 25 because I thought the 30 would be too big on my frame- I am the same height as you!). I am SO GLAD I got the 30. I have young ish kids, so I still carry some things for them, epi pens for one child, and occasionally have nunchucks to coloring books shoved in my bag. Thank you for showing me that the 30 would indeed work on my frame!! 💜

I agreee! The only option would be to do a personalized bag where you can pick the interior, put initials, etc. I’ve been debating on personalizing a speedy 40 bandouliere but waiting since I can’t decide on the interior color since there are several choices!

So glad I stumbled on your video! I'm super torn on getting the new speedy b 25 DE or to get one pre-loved because of the matte finish leather on the new DE. If I look at your video specifically on the DE speedy, I can't tell if you have the original DE still in shiny leather handle and strap or if you have the newer matte finish of it. I read on lots of forums that the matte leather can get water marks from rain, and a LV SA told me to be mindful when using hand lotion before touching the handles/strap. This is definitely not the case with the older shiny DE leather. If your DE is in the new matte finish, how does the matte finish holding up on your speedy b nowadays? Is it easy to get some water marks (rain) on the matte handle? I know that rain isn't an issue with the original shiny leather. Curious to know how the matte leather performs! :) Thanks so much!!
Hi! Sorry, I'm not sure what the shiny vs matte look is on the handles that you're mentioning. Overall, the DE holds up very well and doesn't get wet marks because it's a treated leather, unlike the vachetta leather on monograms bags. The entire bag in DE with the canvas and treated handles have held up extremely well even in rain, when I get it wet, when I wipe the handles with wet water wipes, etc. and I definitely recommend getting the DE if you are worried about wet marks because it's not a thing with the treated leather. I’m not for certain but I think they switched to a more matte in the DE due to the shiny finish being more prone to cracking over time. Again, not 100% sure

I have seen some reviews stating that using an insert would cause more stress to the canvas at the corners, especially on The DE print so bw carefully. I use a piece of foam with rounded corners. Just enough but still allow the bag to slouch.😊

Hi! Thanks for watching! I agree that carrying a heavy bag is not fun! Luckily canvas bags are much lighter than leather bags! I definitely think getting a bandouliere will be easier to carry since you'll be commuting without a car. I also really like my speedy 30 because it fits more but either would be a great choice! ❤️

No, I have the 13in macbook pro and it is too large to fit into the 30. Maybe the speedy 35 will but I'm not sure bc of the zipper opening. I have other LV bags that will easily fit it though (ie the neverfull mm and gm, onthego mm, etc). Thanks for watching and I hope this is helpful!
