I've just got back today after a 7day tour of Scotland, using this tent and the Roar stove. Absolutely fantastic set up to use. And it was throughly tested at John O'Groats, when the light easterly breeze turned into hurricane shatterpants! 😅 Tent was still up right in the morning, although a little damp inside due to the footprint being a separate item. I would say, if you get this tent, get the footprint too, as it forms the template to set your tent perfectly. We realised this the day after! We survived though and will go back again for another epic tour of Scotland. *note to self, bring more whisky! 😅
Saying it’s nice is hardly descriptive is it? We only see spam, it’s not as if it changes colour much to give us a hint of what flavour you’re trying, c’mon lads.
Tocino is a sweet cured meat typically served as Filipino breakfast. Best served with garlic fried rice to balance out that sweetness with garlicky flavor. 🤤
I have a couple of the little gas candle/lanterns, one is a bit touchy and has similar issues to what you experienced, the other I only got today is a BRS version which has a wire handle to open the main valve which is regulated then it has a rotary flame adjuster which is extremely stable and provides a nice candle light, I tried it out all evening as it is a stromy night here and it seemed an apt time to try it out
Nothing like this on the market? Have you checked out the Snow Peak Takibi? It’s been around for many years. I’d say it’s also better for grilling since it’s height adjustable.. but unfortunately, definitely more costly.
Was at a friends place and they had some saplings and branches that needed removing, I had my CS Shovel in the car and was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. Another plus is that I don't think I would have done such a good job with my axe as I Wouldn't want to ruin my Gransfors, but no worries with the CS shovel.
Bought this knife and after a few mods I love it! Pushed the grind back a bit and cut the ricasso up higher to choke up the grip higher and closer to the blade. Overall a great knife!
I ordered one a couple of weeks back still waiting for it to turn up. I will use it with my UCO candle lantern. Neither are for main light, just for a bit of background atmosphere. Not sure if I would bother cooking with it but it is possible especially with a dehydrated meal as you could get a boil in two minutes. It’s all good fun! 🧐🇬🇧
I currently use the trekology chair with the beachmat or sandcover attachment. Totally stops your legs sinking into soft surfaces. Kinda surprised noone's mentioned tbf..
I was enthralled watching this waiting to be told where to buy for a fantastic Temu/Bangood/Aliexpress price….. Bloody hell! I’d expect this to be made by Hilleberg😂
So over the years I have been through many camp chairs some of which you have shown similar versions of in this video. It also adds up to quite a bit of money spent too. So, in terms of the main things you want in a camp chair, the feet , the back support, the height, stability I have one down a different route. Why reinvent the wheel, I just watched people outdoors sitting for long periods fishing and bought a fishing chair. It ticks a the boxes and is bomb proof. There are many versions to suit all tastes. But generally they are the I have come across and will last many many years. Granted not all are light weight enough to take on a hike, but car camping it’s a no brainier.
I was going to go for a Firebox but think I'll go for the Bushbox LF Titanium instead. My use is some light cooking while camping, so frying etc, and this looks great. I'll probably use it with a spirit burner a lot but then the possibility of using wood too is great.
Don't have fuel passed the top holes. If you do, the stove won't burn correctly causing more smoke, and soot. It will burn cleaner if you keep fuel below the top holes once again.
I'm on your main channel but I've only recently came across your review channel, may I ask, have you done the same review thing for gas burner/gas cooking options?
The enclosed stove, the one you bought second would fit into the box, and the one the first stove would work better with the external table since you would then be able to reach under easier and turn on and off.
"He man" I have the power!!haha, love it great content Andy!keep up the videos as they are very inspiring, I'm due to try camping out very soon haven't been for many years but watching y0ur channel is giving me a few very much need pointers, cheers pal,all the very best with your new sauces venture!
I love Spam, it has no nutritional value I believe, but I would LOVE to try those flavours. I would imagine your kidneys took a week to filter out the salt and other awful ingredients included but what great toasted sandwiches they would make with cheese and Branston pickle - yum!😂😂
