I usually prefer heavily planted tanks, but I'm loving what you did in the golden minnow tank! That shimmer and flow make me want to do that for my minnows. Beautiful fish room! I'm so glad to have found you on YT.
Excellent stuff… the shallow tank, at the start, what make is that hanging filter again? Seachem? I have to say, I love hanging them on the long end of tanks rather than at the center/back, as many do. It just makes for a nice horizontal current, and is so much closer to a stream flowing. More natural plant growth and appearance that way, as well. I usually place an additionally sponge filter at the opposite end, too. Looks so good in your tank room! 👍🏽
@erikm8372 Thank you😊 I agree with the horizontal flow, great when you can place it length ways. It's the Seachem Tidal 35. Comes with Matrix bio media too which us awesome 👍
Tidy, classy looking studio mate with great scapes. My only tip is put some wood on the cactus garden. It might just lift the look a bit. Regards Duzzy🇦🇺
Geordie: What a lovely studio. I can only imagine the hours that can be spent enjoying this oaisis. I've learned so much from your vids. Thank you for all that you do! Favourite would be the Pan's Labyrinth, but my eye keeps coming back to the hardscape only shallow.
It's ridiculous the way they made it. Such a beautiful tank ruined by that ugly filter. Removal of the filter could really damage the tank! This is the only reason I've chosen Fluval Instead of Juwel
@samuelpotter6006 maybe a little but you'd probably not notice much. If you want more flow best use reducers and smaller hosing with jet like out take.
@PresidentJorgeBush I like to use up beat music when scaping and more chilled, calming on the final tank shots with the calming water and swimming fish. You can see this in my long form videos. Not really a fan of the shorts to be honest. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Hi Mark, stunning tank!! Love the wood… where can I get something like that? I don’t have any good aqua shops near me!! Looking to give try again with a tank build.. this looks simple but so good.. also wot would I expect to pay for a piece of wood like that??
@simoncushing1048 Cheers Simon, aporeciate that. I was thinking about doing the cost on this video but decided not to BUT I may do a video chatting about prices, cheaper more expensive alternatives etc. Might put the feelers out on that topic.
Absolute belter of a tank that. Loving the channel and content. I’ve just switched to using seachem excel/flourish on my 5ft tank as was having bba issues and I must say I’m sticking with them. Plants are looking much better for it. Although I do use dennerele pro fertiliser as well on big water changes
Great video, aquaeal shrimp nano is a great tank, light, heater and filter pack if your up north like me omega pets has a great deal on these nearly half price 👍👍
Thank you. They are great value, I used to have a couple, I actually did a couple of videos. Unboxing and setup. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JmL8zB6_iuc.htmlsi=kw9RBCWwVBrPz0st ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UCa1D7sXPi8.htmlsi=4P26ICOuSo8fXG6t
Dear Sir…. I’m not being confrontational but I bought this exact filter and it broke after 4 weeks. Tried to contact manufacturers as shop would not take returns…. I must reaffirm the quality of the filter has definitely worsened over last 7 years
