I usually prefer heavily planted tanks, but I'm loving what you did in the golden minnow tank! That shimmer and flow make me want to do that for my minnows. Beautiful fish room! I'm so glad to have found you on YT.
Geordie: What a lovely studio. I can only imagine the hours that can be spent enjoying this oaisis. I've learned so much from your vids. Thank you for all that you do! Favourite would be the Pan's Labyrinth, but my eye keeps coming back to the hardscape only shallow.
Tidy, classy looking studio mate with great scapes. My only tip is put some wood on the cactus garden. It might just lift the look a bit. Regards Duzzy🇦🇺
Excellent stuff… the shallow tank, at the start, what make is that hanging filter again? Seachem? I have to say, I love hanging them on the long end of tanks rather than at the center/back, as many do. It just makes for a nice horizontal current, and is so much closer to a stream flowing. More natural plant growth and appearance that way, as well. I usually place an additionally sponge filter at the opposite end, too. Looks so good in your tank room! 👍🏽
@erikm8372 Thank you😊 I agree with the horizontal flow, great when you can place it length ways. It's the Seachem Tidal 35. Comes with Matrix bio media too which us awesome 👍
Thank you. Ah yeah for sure. Great for beginners. Just ensure you have good filtration, flow and lower lighting levels. And keep on top of those weekly water changes👍👍
