I LOVE this spot, I turned the river from water fall to waterfall to a bath house lined with statues using the Aquilonian and other white stone one just under the surface of the water to make a beautiful canal lined with thralls bathing or lying in the ankle deep water or sitting on chairs or those lounges with no cushions. great use for the windmill and sawmill too!
@@idanis5948 That build sounds incredible. I bet the Aquilonian set stands out so nicely in that location! The building in Conan Exiles is my favorite. There are just so many options to get creative in this game
I recently started just collecting thousands of seeds then throwing them in the press. The new event they have going on with the sorcerers is also a great way to get seeds. Just buy the materials. No more fish traps for me haha I couldn’t stay consistent with filling them every day. Seeds is the only way!!

So much accomplished! I totally feel you on having a love/hate relationship with the questing in this game. Discovering things feels nice, but sometimes I want just a little more of a visual indicator haha
@@jcampanella17 it's the time sensitive quests that bother me the most. I just want to go about taking things off the checklist at my own leisure, and it's stressful when specific quests just become unobtainable after certain points. It makes sense for immersion, but I'd rather they didn't have them
@@highcloudd9992 I totally dig that. I don't think you've played the first game, right? The time sensitive quests in that maybe prepared me for this one. In the first, they weren't time sensitive in game days, but rather locked by which part of the main story you were in. It's frustrating, but I guess it does add a replayability factor for that NG+
@@jcampanella17 I didn't play the first one, and I am more used to quests being more like that where the MSQ is the defining factor on missable quests. At least we have NG+ nowadays
Checkpoint Rest Town is neat! Lots of fun exploring in this one. I loved discovering Battahl through the little side tunnels, and seeing the badlands-y landscape.
Oh man, if stopping to drink or eat the healing items is cheesing, then ya boi was the cheese master. I was sucking down the salubrious draughts with impunity 🤣
Ooh Mystic Spearhand! Very fun vocation for sure. I was shocked you handled the first minotaur encounter you had so well. The first time I ran into one I got absolutely ran over haha
My pawns my have carried me pretty hard on that fight haha I did learn that if it's fuzzy, light it on fire 🔥 The mobility of mystic spearhand is wonderful, but I'm so addicted to the strike strength and knockdown power of warrior
Ooh the griffon fight was so close! Heartbreaking to see. I love the griffons in the game, because during that middle portion where you're not quite strong enough, you can encounter the same one multiple times. The warrior was my favorite class, though I really enjoyed all of them. It definitely took some learning to understand how to make the class work.
It's crazy how hard some of the early bosses feel, but it makes it so much no more satisfying when you can actually start crushing them later in. I remember the pain they caused, and return it ten fold lol
Because of hacking issues involved with the Conan Exiles servers, I chose not to make a public server. I'm taking a break from Conan right now, but when I do play it, I play singleplayer. Sorry about the confusion
Haha I figured I could use all the help I could get. I think the explosion after the shot was indicating that I was hitting it? But I'm not totally sure. Haha it's fun that we have so many options with how we can go about fighting a lot of the monsters in this game.
@@highcloudd9992 I think you probably hit it at least once! Based on the sound, and the fact that you got into combat almost immediately. Having options is always nice. I love that the game just lets you chuck things at the enemies.
Lovely playthrough so far! I dig the Dragonlance reference. I hadn't really thought about the rifts as a way to explain making characters from other IPs, but it makes it make sense! Dragon's Dogma is very heavy on friction, can be tough to get into at first. But it's one of my favorites.
Hey thanks for watching 😁 At first the struggle was real, but as I got further into the game it became really fun to smack around the bosses that gave me so much trouble. I've yet to get into new game+, but hopefully Capcom will add in difficulty selection options for those that feel they become too overpowered. Hopefully they add In some more bosses and mobs with the eventual DLC too. All in all, I totally love the game they created.

I actually haven't delved into NG+ yet either, as this year has had so many releases I've wanted to play, but I'm gonna return to it eventually. If they do anything like the dlc they did for the first game, there'll be some great stuff to come. Dark Arisen was so good. Difficulty options, big dungeon crawl, new items, new enemies, etc.
It will not work on my computer... Steam has let me edit my mods, so everything is there... There is just nowhere that allows me to chose Savage Wilds at start-up...
if you are trying to start a game in singleplayer make sure you choose the custom tab instead of The Exiled lands or the isle of Siptah. From there you will get a pull down tab where you can select Savage wilds
I choose the profession of a hunter and live where there are a lot of wild boars and wolves. Hunting further improves the levels and then I get myself a camel and two porters with a large number of cells and lead the whole caravan to Sipermera!😄P.S Cloudy, when you transfer boxes to a merchant, you need to put one box and then you can throw them all with one button!
I didn't realize you can autodrop all the crates into the market trader. I first chose the mining profession because pretty new rocks and gems lol, but I soon found out I'd rather keep my ores for crafting. Hunting was the next one I was going to start playing around with more. I haven't shown it yet, but I've built a settlement near Sepermeru to give me a change of scenery now and then. That's coming soon though 😄
@@shaixalyd6681 There are a few really great AoC content creators out there. I did have trouble finding up to date info on some of the systems and content that is available within the mod. The guides provided on the official AoC discord has been a huge help so far. it's inspired me to cover some of those topics that had me digging for info for hours at a time. Hopefully I will be able to provide some help to new players moving forward.
I don't know right off hand if Siptah has ostrich eggs available. There are shoebills you can purchase from a vendor at the isle of castaways. You could try to see if that would trigger your journey step. Otherwise you may have to have it spawned in by an admin. Im currently playing on the Exiled lands map, with AoC, and there are ostrich nests at E-4 north of the Howling Plateau
Age of Calamitous. The location im in is actually the desert starting area. They totally redesigned it into an endgame location. I very much recommend checking it out
At least we have the ability to use the mods created by these awesome modders. I played Black Desert for years, and their mount system is super dead and stagnant also. They only have horses, and rarely add new content into their game. I don't get why these companies want these bland mounts. Even though they are just skins. I think wow always did it best imo.
Beautifully built, I like it! 🤩 Little tip, especially for the lazy people. (like me) 😅 The Automatic Fish Trap mod works great. No need to constantly refill insects. Just place it and wait. Then you can take care of the really important things. Like conquering the world or something. xD
a bit too futuristic looking for the era Conan is trying to represent, not that there isn't haunted castles & fortresses in Conan there is a lot. Look up Hyperborean architecture, that one is metal af, mean looking stone castles. I have a similar reasoning with Zingarian architecture & outfits in Conan they look like from a pirate game, they don't fit with how primitive the Conan aesthetic was originally like.
And I do wish that they had added more waterfalls and staggered waterfalls to the base game. SW has more, but I don't think there's nearly enough for all maps :)
I totally agree. Building bases around waterfalls makes for the best visuals. The Sapphire Exile mod map has some really great locations if you are purely just looking for build locations.
I watched a lot of Conan videos, only you have wonderful and talented music and your voice is just incredibly beautiful! I don't know, you must be an angel❤🤔😄
Sorry to disappoint. I very much struggle with consistency, and feel I lack the skills to be a proper RU-vid channel. I'm sure I'll have some new series eventually, but just doing some work in the background right now.
