I'm from the US and want to apply here after I finish school. Do you guys accept US applicants? Do you guys help with work permit or do I have to have one before applying? Thanks
Used these brushes on my last artwork, in particular that chalky one, but couldn't figure out how she gets the skin all smooth, mine comes out looking like streaks.
I really love your work!! Can you please tell me who did that drawing of the undead army called, "ready for battle"?? I am planning to make that scene in 3D and hope to join you as a team member , im very new on this
I am confused as to how she blended it so easily?? I have only just began digital painting and and I really struggle to not make it look streaky and unblended! Can anyone help? X
Hey! Don't worry about it, when I first started painting digitally around 2 years ago, I had the same problem. My recommendation would be to practice blending by painting gray scale (black and white) objects to start out. Focus on laying down flat, clear values in the beginning to block out your forms. Then, you can diffuse any unwanted hard edges by lightly sweeping back and forth over the edge with a slightly textured brush. Painting gray scale cubes, spheres, cylinders, cones, and pyramids will allow you to practice your blending before moving onto more complicated forms. Also, even though it's boring, painting basic shapes will teach you the fundamentals of values, form, and edges that you'll use every time you paint/draw. After you get the hang of blending the basic shapes, move on to more complicated subject matter - like still life, and eventually characters. I'll link below some amazing resources for learning the fundamentals of drawing and painting. These are the resources that have completely transformed my art in the last two years, so I hope you find them useful :) 1. Wow! this was posted on my birthday last year! Any way, thank you for such an amazing b-day present! :P seriously some good work Stuart. I can't wait to check out more work and what ever you (stuart or atomhawk) will be posting on my birthday this year!
MoogleCaliS OH YEAH They do! I couldn't do a lot of things without certain brushes that I had to add. You can do the same stuff without them, but It's much harder, and takes a lot of time
@@MAHDI-kw4pr brushes dont matter when you're first learning to paint. And considering that you're making a tutorial more geared towards beginners, you should encourage them to learn how to just paint normally first and add textures/other shit later. Brushes do not matter.
