Great video! Alternatively, if I wish to keep the oil cooler/warner but want to replace the rusty metal pipe(that highly would touch the EL header). Would a longer length reinforced high temperature silicone hose be a better replacement for the rusty pipe?

Man I fitted 18’s off a GC8 onto my XT which is stock Height and I’m somehow getting slight rub somewhere. Calipers are clear from rims, Good gap between bottom hat of suspension. I’m scratching my head
I only use top tier. Sunoco, Amoco, Bp, shell, Exxon. You’re right most people don’t know. Same goes for if you have an awd or 4 wheel drive system a lot don’t know about changing fluids on transfer case and differential fluids on a front and rear axles. I change all required fluids when you’re supposed to. I do an oil under coat every year underneath vehicle and inside doors and rocker panels inside the frame and outside because I live in a cold weather climate and state that uses a lot of salt.
Don’t bother! The “adapter” doesn’t work well enough to pass an MOT in the UK so best to go all-in and fit R180 setup. Additionally, 6 speed box gives peace of mind… just do it
I was able to keep the factory front plastic skid on the car. I just drilled out the 4 spots where the standoffs are located so they would slide thru the factory plate. I wanted to keep the factory plate mainly for dirt and water mitigation into the engine bay from below.
I got the full face street tuner series clutch and oem flywheel and it’s terrible. After 5k miles it still shakes chatters really bad. I will be replacing it soon so sad.
