A blogger since 2010 and actively travelling since 2003 I went on some amazing trips but didn't put time in making videos. I've seen some great professionally made channels but they are lacking historical knowledge and miss many of the unique places I visit sometimes in the same destinations. I hope to document thru future videos, travels, biking, as well as my blogs the more unique sights off the beaten track. Please like, subscribe, and share.
Great job, walking in a dangerous area by day and claiming it is safe. These places usually turn dangerous by night, not by day. So next time you want to show people how safe a hood is, go by night.
As part of Operation Inspiration, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds flew over Toronto. Any given year when the air show is on, it concludes with the Snowbirds. Two days later, May 12, the CNE and the air show were cancelled. It's the first time in years that we didn't see the Snowbirds and other acts.
I was just in Grønland walking around with my family. We thought it was actually lovely. I feel that my home town which is fairly safe is much more dangerous than Grønland.
@@Departures1you can just about clock the old police station (6:07) - still in service at the time, which was a few doors down from the veterinarian surgery (6:06).
@@Departures1 we moved out around the same time. Most people started to move out of Newham circa 1990, and visits back were more for shopping purposes and cruising by to reminisce on the past. It started to get quite dangerous around the 1990s, although the 80s were no walk in the park during the height of racially motivated clashes and attacks.
@@Departures1 I am American, I just checked the international law about that country called Kosovo . There is a resolution from the UN 1244. It says closer Serbia 🇷🇸 internationally I mean by international law. Me personally, I don’t care.
I wouldn’t go back, it’s too expensive, and I ground myself looking at video screens, and yes that cartoon needs to be removed and replaced with Super Trouper, Money Money Money, Take A Chance on me imho.
Yes it is expensive if you factor in flights, hotels. Was not a fan of those cartoons. The booklet does explain the back story but without reading that it had no context and seemed out of place.
I have never been to a prison but this experience I believe was similar, the room was really a cubicle, there was no space to even stretch out, the room was made up of two bunk beds in a sad gray color, the walls were also peeling, the furniture was in poor condition and the corridors with gray doors without any type of decoration completed the prison-style look with one gray door next to another in a wide corridor without any type of decoration. the bathroom then, without words. small with little space to put things and few showers. The location is the only saving point. But if you want comfort and warmth, this place is far from offering it. This shitty place is too expensive too .. get a Airbnb better
Yes it is expensive but it is a famous historical landmark. Also it was designed as a mens hostel for homeless and low income so was not designed for comforts and was probably overcrowded with sharing rooms.

My daughter, friend,nephew and I flew to London from 🌉on May 5,2024 to watch the ABBA Voyage show. It was amazing and magical show. Definitely coming back again while I am able 75 y/o me and fan of ABBA I experienced my long time dream 💭 Thank you for the music ABBA. I use to go to St.Pierre for decades but now 2024 it’s too expensive to eat’Sleep’Drink and purchase anything it’s never worth going to St.Pierre anymore.
I knew it was going to be expensive but I always wanted to go. Other than the bakery I didnt see any shops to buy anything. I was there less then 24 hours due to scheduling so managed on my own food/drinks till I was back in Canada
I'll be doing this soon. How hard is it to find the right train and then track? It looked like you booked an NS train, but then got on a IC train...is that correct?
Its pretty easy, there were four tracks. One goes to Amsterdam Central, the other to Rotterdam. Maybe I did get on the wrong type of train but it was the next one going to Rott.
We just went to San Juan for 5 days vacation. San Juan Airport has tourist information downstairs. They give us free raincoats and all the Bus routes. We decided not to rent a car since we were staying only in Sanjuan. Bus and train are free for 6 months ( Mar- Aug - 2024). We took the bus and train everywhere. Bus T-5 goes to the Airport - Ocean Park to Old San Juan (the Bus terminal is one block next to Walgreens Store). Since we stay in Ocean Park, we use T-5 every day to go to Old San Juan and do all our activities from there. Free form Old Sanjuan to Airport vice vesa.
Wow. Thank you so much for keeping these treasures. I remember back in the 90s when I rode the old S-Bahn (ET420) trains. Unfortunately the old ET420 have been retired since 2014 and were replaced by ET423 and ET430 Well by the way 1:20 was not taken at the main station it was taken at the Konstablerwache. The main station had a different tiled wall in the 90s
