🤓 UPDATE: After removing both they found out that the flag polls were almost exactly the same height. The difference in height as they were installed had to do with the level of the fill below. The good news is that a second flag pole to even up the height was not necessary. It was a simple fix... They raised the level of the fill under the pole that will be used for the US flag so the the pole is higher and thus the flag will always fly higher. GREAT JOB by both the town and village crews in getting it done. THANKS!!! 🏆

🤓 I hope they fast track it... It should be non-partisan. My biggest problem with what they are doing is they force us to pay excessive fees for opting out. $3-$5/meter for opting out would be more reasonable. nyassembly.gov/leg/?default_fld=&leg_video=&bn=A09148&term=&Summary=Y&Text=Y

You will see many dead trees along the NYS Thruway where it goes through the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge that were the result of a change in the water table after the Thruway was built and/or as a result of clogged culverts. I believe that the same thing happened here as the result of the clogged culverts at the rail spur in the woods and if I'm correct the water table would be much lower if the land was restored to it's original drainage topography.

The 8 foot to 10 foot tall bamboo type "swamp" grass that I was talking about is called Phragmites. It's great to have around sewage treatment plants in case they have overflow situations from time to time. In fact it's likely that the property that the town officials want s to buy had some raw sewage spill over into it over the years...but who really knows?

CORRECTION: The CEO of Victor Insulators, Inc. clarified his statement with me. Although it would adversely impact their operation they would absolutely find a way to continue their operations.

Update: On 01-22-2024 55 petition sheets with 512 signatures of Victor, NY 'Electors' and witnessed by Victor, NY 'Electors' in accordance with the rules were not challenged so the question will go to a "Permissive Referendum". It also came to our attention that there are 2 parcels of property at the same address. The assessed property value of the parcel that the Town Board had resolved to buy according to the 2023 final assessment roll was $87,000. Again, they had resolved to pay $1,000,000. Truthfully at this point all we have accomplished is to reset the clock in making the decision. The difference this time is that Victor voters have plenty of time to become informed and involved in the process, and it will be the Victor voters who show up to vote who ultimately decide.

It's obvious that this option should have been included as a possibility. Should (here today gone tomorrow) developers interests come before the long term interests of the community as a whole? I for one say NO!!!🧐

I've become aware that some felt threatened by me this message. Although I can be sensitive to their feeling I contend that their 'feelings' are based in reality. Using my First Amendment rights to explain some history pertaining to the reason that the Second Amendment came second is a matter of historical truth. As communicated in this message although I do not like the prospects or implications involved pertaining to asserting our second amendment rights for the reasons it was established, the reason that they were established are clear. Although I will admit that the message could be refined a bit, in full context, and considering the circumstances I have no regrets for putting this out. I can't control how people feel and how they feel should not be used as a reason to justify violating my rights as a law abiding citizen. GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT INSTEAD OF INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY? 🤔 God forbid that this is how our criminal justice system is run moving forward and into the future. 🧐

Search for ' WetlansStreamsFloodplains map Victor NY' for a good map of where the line for the DEC Wetlands is. It's loaded into the Town of Victor, NY website in the Conservation Board section.

To those in Town Government who are seeing this and who have read the letter that was sent to me. Please ask yourself this question. Why would the Town Supervisor not want you to communicate with me in any way about anything (including the validity of the claims being made about me) without having his permission first? Be honest... That sounds rather odd does it not? Perhaps it's time you defy his wishes and contact me about it. Let me also give you a word of advice. If a corruption investigation starts don't get caught on the wrong side of the truth... Even the Town attorney's contract and the surety bonds that protect most of you from personal liabilities have their limits. I figure if this type of injustice can happen to a person like me then it can and probably is happening to others as well... I wish you all well... Randy
