She doesn't have a brother complex. The anime does a bad job showing that it's making fun of the classic tropes. Yuki just acts like an asshole and makes fun of everyone. She's an otaku but has to pretend she's very ladylike outside of Masachika. About the fanservice, i guess the issue are the angles of the scenes. Obviously if she is changing clothes, you'll see her underwear. The problem is how they use every chance they can to do fanservice. I guess they are trying to mimic Momoco's illustrations in the light novel, wich are very "detailed". They do stuff like that, yet they nerfed Alya's boobs in the anime, wich is sad because them being big leads to a recurring joke that really pays off in book 3(one of the best jokes), showing Masachika can sometimes be stupid for real. Weird choice. Be noted that this show tries to be for romcoms what Konosuba is for the isekai genre.

From what i understand, it's not that. It seems a standard industry practice to not allow or give least amount of direct interaction between the Author and the Scriptwriter. Just read up the info regarding Author "Hinako Ashihara" on ANN (fyi, the plot of this Episode was written long back before the issue with Hinako Ashihara).

While the anime is drawing from the light novel, which I still need to read, rather than the manga adaptation. At this point on, if I remember right the fan service rapidly turns down, but still has Alya trying to initiate touch or an interaction. Yeah sis is def a bro-con but feels like she's teasing Alya and trying to force those two to interact more often.
Platonic bro-con for sure. Even these first two episodes barely has any fan service outside of arguably the sock scene last episode and definitely the shot of here changing in this episode. Even the sock scene at least had purpose. We only saw what he saw, otherwise it was just uncomfortably good animation lol
I know it's not really an anime, but I'd definitely reccommend watching the 2nd Suicide Squad movie, called The Suicide Squad (2021)- it's really different from the first film in a really good way, and it's the one with King Shark and Peacemaker in it!

In case you want to know how much time passed the author made an after credit statement, expand if you want to know: There is a 5/6 tower year timeskip. I call them tower year because 6 tower years roughly equall 1-2 years in our world (because they have less days). In addition people in the tower age slower, the aithor did not say by how much (as far as I have read).

@@Tam_Hawkins there are less days but it’s probably not much, the 1-2 years is due to their long life span. If a year in the tower is equivalent to 1/3rd outside, that would make Khun 5-6 years old at the start of part 1.

I expected this to be way more popular tbh. Not like DS or AoT of course. But more than this :/ Isekai and Suicide Squad sounds like an awesome combination on paper but something is missing. No breathtaking animations, not particularly funny or gory. It's not bad but there is just nothing special about it.
They changed the artstyle for s2 because at that point in the webtoon the artstyle also changed, similar to how jojo adaptations change the artstyle for almost each part because that's how it was in the manga
Tower of god season 2 turn into s1 or classroom of the elite s1 to s3 type mid adaptation again . I don't mind beacuse atleast better than the promise neverland season 2 and tokyo ghoul re . They adapt same as 90% to 93% or max 94% webtoon source material and cut some minor scene / dialogue . Iam supporting tog s2 beacuse i want more tower of god anime season in the future .
