Love all your reviews! Can you compare the photos from this with the Retro Mini 3 dedicated printer? I like the idea of having a camera but wonder if the printer only model has much better photo quality and just use your phone. Thanks!
So excited about this new offering. I’ve been a customer and fan of your travel maps for years. I have a few questions about using the new template and book printing service. What’s the best way to pose those questions to you? Thank you!!
Leaving a comment for the algorithm, cause I’ve been thru like 5 of these videos and you sir understand what people are here. Great review! Subscribe button mashed
I am excited. I just ordered the Kodak. I have been looking up reviews, watching too many you tube videos for 3 days now!!! I have a HP sprocket from when the first came out. I love it. But, the colors were a little off. And now that it was THAT MANY years ago, I don't have all the same app access since my Sprocket is so old. I also have one of the original Canon Selphy 4 x 6 photo printers using. And LOVE the quality of the photos. The Dye Sup process is just amazing. And the pricing of the refill cartridges and paper for the Kodak is affordable. Thank you so much. Even though I do love myself some sticky back paper? I know want to make a photo album of my ENTIRE iPhone photos! I miss photo albums. I know the picture will be small, but they will be ACCESSIBLE for me to flip through whenever I want! THANK YOU!!!
How do you recognize a company that prints HD Inject? I often cannot find information about the printing technique used. it is clearly printed or exposed but nothing else...?
I have been creating photo books for 15 years and coincidentally have used double page spreads for my favourite photos. I have always used the full page. Can you tell me why you have used full pages on some but left white space around others? Is it an issue of clarity of the photos (which I must say are all stunning)? Or is it just a design element for different e and interest? Kindest regards from Patricia in New South Wales, Australia.
May I please ask your recommendations for photo albums for over 1000 wedding pictures that are of high quality and made with great material in the USA for 2024? Would love to see an updated version of your wedding album video you did for 2020. Thank you and keep up the great videos!
Well presented! I was worried that you were not going to cover "viewing distance." Thankfully, I watched until the end and you finally talked about this key factor. In my experience, large poster prints or "wall art" look spectacular when viewed from several feet away, even when their pixel density is only 100 ppi. For the most part, you did a very good job using ppi (instead of dpi) in its proper context. You did slip up on three occasions. I would have corrected these errors in post-production before uploading to RU-vid. In today's world of AI (2024) images with very low pixel densities (eg: 50 ppi) can be "upscaled" using specialized AI (Artificial Intelligence) algorithms and the resulting files can look great when they are printed at home, or by a commercial printer. One final point... most commercial printers use high-quality hardware for printing (ie: an Imagesetter) that have an ink print density of 2500 dpi.
you just saved me!!!! I have an assignment where I have to submit a travel photobook. can you let me know which is better, silk or lustre, for a travel photobook which will include text as well?and which binding technique?
What kind of paper is that that you used with the heat press? Where do you buy it? Is it recommended or required to have those under and over the transfer paper for the heat press?
Thank you so much! This tutorial was everything I was looking for! Do you happen to know of any online printing services that can laser print on this type of paper and ship ?
I did the inkjet method a couple of years ago, and then had a call from my mother in law who was upset because she'd picked the book up with wet hands and the ink spread immediately. Do you do anything else to 'fix' the ink? In the end I bought iron on cotton washable fabric from Gecko Paper and rebound it which worked great! Added bonus I was able to iron it onto the boards so no additional glue required.
I wonder if you could have gotten a matte clear coat spray paint and applied it lightly once or twice. I haven't tried this, but it's just a thought to protect the ink from smearing.
Thanks! The editor and website is perfect! Can’t wait to get my book! I struggled with several other sites and was very impressed with the Pikto editor.
