How to choose the BEST Photo Book for Multi/Series book projects?

My first 4 books were done with Elephoto in Canada and sadly, they do not exist anymore. This is so frustrating,!! I wish all the photobook companies would allow us to save our hours of work we put into designing our books into a standard format (like pdf) for backup on our own computer!! If I had those backup I would definitively print back my albums with an other company to have a consistency through all my books. Thank you for this video, very interesting and a lot to think about!

An interesting video, as usual. The way you have changed your mind about book format, paper quality, etc throughout your videos is quite fascinating. If I understand you well, you do everything from printing to cover making, book stitching, etc. Therefore, watching your video made me wonder how you print your dust jackets for your book collection. An A4 landscape photo book would need something like an 80-cm long dust jacket. Can you print one on a single sheet of paper or do you need to glue two A3 pages side by side? Perhaps it is something you can explain in another video?…

I want to start a series for my travels as well. I personally am interested in printing them on softcovers for a “magazine book” look. It’s just sooo hard finding companies with the same sizes 🥲😭 I just want to have backups.
