Hi, I've like to bring it back to normal and not want my MP287 a CISS anymore. How do I use the Canon Resetter to bring it back to normal so I can use regular, genuine cartridges? Thank you, God bless you.

The fools are out of stock at Brother and Amazon, we literally have no choice but to hack it in order to continue business, what a joke. I have the same LC401 cartridge, black is low and out of stock. I'm going to try it this weekend. Good luck Bill!
@@ES-jf8ub Did not work for me, the printer knew it was refilled and will not let me print. I could not find a chip resetter for the LC401. I was very careful in making a small hole, filling it, and covering the hole up. Don't know what else to do. :(
Improvement on this. It's best to drill a hole on the right side (two times on the inside, one on the outside) and have the tube enter in the horizontal position, the the tube outlet of the tanks should be a few millimeters (not too much, if it's too high, like on top of the printer, it'll overfill inside the cartridge and mix the colors which is extremely hard to fix). The ink tanks could be velcro-ed (with industrial velcro) or a stand made or a platform made and then screwed to the printer where it' won't damage any wire or mechanism and should be higher (again not too much just a few millimeters (test at what heigh it'll flow to the end of the tube). The tubes will need to be cut after testing that it's long enough for the printer's head, end to end. Only refill each color of that printer to 3ml else the colors could overflow inside and mix which is extremely hard to fix, it'll take 3 to 6 days (mark each syringe for each color at only 3ml mark with white tape, coz' it'll be hard to see when filled up).
