Thank you for the tutorial, I followed the steps and installed the CISS kit in my HP Deskjet 2131 about a month ago. After the installation, the cartridges kept leaking for 1 day. The installation was difficult but everything went in its place in the end. The ink tubes going from ink tank to cartridges are straight. There is no twist in the tubes. All the plugs in both the cartridges were nicely fitted. Now I cant get any prints because the printer gives error of no ink in tricolor cartridge. I checked the ink level in cartridges using HP utility software and it showed me 0% ink on tricolor cartridge. What to do now? I have following doubts, if you can help me with: Q.1) Placement of Ink Tank:-- Should the ink tank be place at the level of the printer, above it or below the level of the printer. I suppose below is a definitely no here as the ink flow in cartridge will not be possible if the ink tank is below the surface level of the printer. "So should the ink tank be above the printer or at the same level on which printer is placed???????" Q.2)Print quality of the aftermarket refill ink:-- Print quality of most of the aftermarket inks that are filled in the CISS system are very faded and dull. Please suggest the best quality aftermarket refill ink(If its only sold in your area, will you be able to ship some stock for me). If not, Can I use original refills bottles of other companies like canon, or original HP refill inks like HP GT51 and GT52 Q.3)Rubber plugs on Ink Tank :-- There are four rubber or plastic plugs for four ink containers. Please confirm if they are supposed to be closed or open during the printing operation? Q.4) Printing frequency:-- Is it really mandatory to print at least one b&w and color page daily so that the ink in cartridge do not dry and clog the cartridges Than you

do i have to replace the original cartridge after a long use or will it work forever if i keep on refilling the ciss tank?

Is it working Well After the time span from installation??

Ciss kit installed and works perfectly but after a couple of months the HP stops printing the problem is not with the cartridges but HP blocks the cartridges that are being re-used. And no amount of printer resets does the job. I have HP desk jet 3830, and I haven't found a solution to that. Ultimately to print I had to buy new cartridges after which it started printing normally. Now my question is how does one clear the ink level memory from the printers motherboard ???

bro whether it works on setup cartridge i tried in setup cartage with syringe but not printing properly whether setup catridge is not suitable for re ink filling

Hello brother I need your favour here as you have installed a CISS tank and you have used a new cartridge how is it work as mostly people said that there is no suction system in hp 2132 and the 2131 so how it's work in this Deskjet ???? Principle is pressurised system like lil holes are open that may exert a pressure on ink to go to the cartridge ....???? Kindly reply me how we use CISS in hp Deskjet

This same thing I did after searching and experimenting but I have noticed no Matter where you kept the tank or how tightly you have locked the pipe there is ink spillage at the nozzel and consequently ink gets collected in the printer body. Need your suggestion. Kindly do reply
