I'm like binge watching your videos this morning. I use Cement All with a few of my vessels, but I mostly use other stuff. I've always had issues coloring CA, so thank you for your videos.
thank u 4 ur video. i m based in canada n am interested in launching a homebased candle business, however, i m finding it very challenging finding an insurance company that covers insurance for a homebased business. would u hv any suggestions as to which insurance companies i can reach out to, or the insurance company u may be insured w currently tht i can reach out to for a quote. appreciate ur help. thank you in advance 😊
Thank you for this video! I’ve been making concrete vessels for almost a year now. I got a new mold to work with and every single time I have a ton of air bubbles at the top of the mold which in return compromises the integrity of the bottom of the vessel. I made some yesterday with the consistency of your mixture and that helped so much, but I still have a good deal of tiny bubbles. Any other suggestions you could throw my way is greatly appreciated.
I just ordered this vessel mold because of you!! I hope you have an affiliate link with them cause I wouldn’t have seen this without you. Thank girl!!!! ❤
Have you ever tried the metallic pigment from Direct Colors? I really want a vessel that has shimmer to it. I’ve tried adding acrylic paint, but it comes out too rough. Just curious.
Thank you so much for being brave for breaking any Barrier of fear of what anyone might think for just being honest. You have a new subscriber. Let me just tell you. I been watching your videos as I’m just starting my candle business and you are my teacher! Can you believe it? You have me smiling every now & then in your videos where you show us how you make your candles as your a bit straightforward but almost in bubbly way! I can just imagine you watching me and how goofy and dramatic I can be when I mess up. You will be like girl what is wrong with you and I can just see you turning around and saying ufff give me patience jajjajaI love it! Thank you so much for everything! 💐
I agree. I've asked wood wick users what their experience is and they're honest about color change but claim consistency. I haven't found that to be true with my own testing
You really make Cement-All look like a thoroughly viable production mix. The initial selling points for me were the 1-hour demold time and 9000+ psi compressive strength fully cured but your demonstration really sold me on it. It's a little pricier than the 2500 psi mortar mix I've been working with but delivering better quality at a much higher production volume pretty much balances that and, honestly, it looks like it requires far less post work. I appreciate your video. You just proved to me that a small business doesn't have to sacrifice quality to get by. Thank you.
Thank you for watching and your kind words! Definitely give cement-all a try. I posted this about a year ago and I’m still using it. The consistency of the product is definitely there as well! 🙂
I love makershapes and their customer services is impeccable ! thank you for making this video because I haven't visited their store in a while and did not know they dropped this mold, I love it. can you make a video with the measurements? you saved my life with your other measurement video and I am very grateful :)
hello, thanks for this video. Do you answer me some ask : What is type of cement you use ? And How many days does it take for the cement to harden? Thank you so much
Thank you!! I make natural soaps and beeswax candles and have been looking into making my own vessels! I was so concerned about how to seal them because of chemicals! Excited to make my first jars and soap dishes! ~jc
Thanks, you just swayed my decision towards Shape Makery. Was just about to purchase the other brand, and something told me to get back on youtube and research further. Thanks so much, and I am now a new subscriber!!
Yay! That's awesome! You won't regret them. They're now called Maker Shapes so if you have trouble finding their Etsy shop here's the link www.etsy.com/shop/MakerShapes
This could happen for many reasons. The immediate ones that come to mind are they were over wicked and the jar got too hot. Or your jar may not have completely dried leaving them a bit weak.
I agree with you. Also, Jai from upVibe candles has another good video explaining testing without fragrance oil from a different perspective, but same main ideas
Wood wicks when they work are great, but there are too many that don't. You made a great decision by not using them. They are great for your home or friends, but I wouldn't want to sell them.
I love this channel, I think I have learned more from you than I have from all the other makers I have watched. Thanks for bringing all of us along thru your candle making journey, I enjoy following along with you...and a great big THANK YOU for you service!
Thank you for watching! You just gave me the motivation to make more videos 🥲 I’ve been struggling with imposter syndrome lately. That was the push I needed ❤️ bless you!
Of all the concrete vessel videos Ive watched, yours look the smoothest and nicest of all. I took notes and will follow you directions when I get started with mine. Thank you so much, they look amazing!!
Why do the parts that are up come out foamy? I make my containers with Cement All, Color Direct, and distilled water. Sometimes I use Titanium Oxide. I have a soft mix left to handle. But when it dries, the part that is exposed to the elements becomes porous.
Thank U!! I have the shapemamakery mold and waiting on the 16 oz lid mold I’m being told it takes 580 grams of soy wax I’m I agree with u on the thickness it looks soooo high end when they are both nice and thick!!
