Coloring my CEMENT jars Pt. 2 | DIRECT COLORS pigment 

I'm like binge watching your videos this morning. I use Cement All with a few of my vessels, but I mostly use other stuff. I've always had issues coloring CA, so thank you for your videos.

Save any of the colored chips that you end up with off your silicon bowl, that way you can toss them into other creations, sand them down, and get some pretty new creations!

Happy New Year to you and your family. I started making concrete vessels. I realized after that I was supposed to seal the vessels with a sealant. The wax was seeping thru the vessel when I was doing a test burn. But overall, I like the concrete vessels, I just know now to seal the vessels. Happy to see you back on here😊

So I learned something, that Quikrete liquid cement color makes the mixture thicker, not thinner. I am working on a patio. So I can mix up mortar for cementing the stones down, and from that batch I can take a little bit in a container add the coloring without making it thinner. Then I can use that for the gaps between the stones. I was thinking the liquid color would thin out the cement. What are you using for cement for your jars, Portland or Cement all?

Is there anyway to add pearl/iridescent or holographic effects to glass or concrete jars? Not sure how to add it to white or clear glass jars?

Have you ever tried the metallic pigment from Direct Colors? I really want a vessel that has shimmer to it. I’ve tried adding acrylic paint, but it comes out too rough. Just curious.
