Hi 🌸! This was such a helpful and informative video! I recently signed up for a TEFL course and my goal is to go to Spain. Random question😂 as I fellow POC I noticed you have gorgeous braids in all your videos. Are there places in Spain where you can get your hair braided or do you do your own hair?
Hiii! I’m so glad this video was helpful! But ahhh, thank youuu! For the braids, I usually do them myself but sometimes I also go to @nchama_trenzas (you can find her on ig) who is absolutely amazing.😭🫶🏽
I'm just realizing the student visa is 90 days. So we have to get the TIE (I think) how long does this allow us passport holders to stay in the country? I'm wondering how soon after the program school year ends would we have to leave?
Hey girl just wondering, since you've lived in spain for more than 2 years are you able to apply for spanish nationality? It's something I've been wanting to do when I get my student visa.
Hi love! Unfortunately you cannot obtain Spanish Nationality on a student visa as far as I know🥲 It needs to be a work visa or have spanish nationality I believe.
Great video! So do you recommend connecting with someone on FB before getting to Madrid and then look for an apartment with them ? Also Ik this might differ by groups and stuff but in your Conversa Group was it mostly young or older people ? I am a 23 year old male and would like to like with someone close to my age. Thanks in advance
Thank you! Yes, I recommend connecting with someone on FB before getting to Madrid. As for Conversa, it was mostly young people ranging from 21-33, same for most of FB groups I mentioned in the description!
I’m so proud of you and admire you so much for that solo boat adventure cause, same, my social anxiety would be through the roooooof. AND you still vlogged while on it??? I would clam tf uppppp ahhhh ! Gimme that saliha courageeee
Hi saliha I am abdullah from india ,I got selected in auxiliar program I will come in September, bt I am bit nervous how to teach the children because I have never taught anyone before
I am seeing a lot of people going through vrbo because they are already screened, safe to book online and if they are not doing well, offering 3 months upfront will save a lot, plus wifi, water, electric already there so no deposits on all that and waiting.
In Madrid, auxes are paid € 1000! It differs per region. Yes, I paid for the placement program and then I am paid from being an aux with monthly stipend. There is a free placement platform through NALCAP as well!
Hey! So this year I applied to NALCAP and because I am in South Carolina I will be using the Miami consulate. I noticed that this year everything needs to be in person and I was wondering if I still need the tracking number on the disclaimer form as part of the visa application? This may be confusing but I was unsure what tracking number I would put there if it's in person the whole process?
Hey! Do you feel like the ConversaSpain program was a big factor in your Madrid city center placement (if you are in the city center lol - assuming so and manifesting that I can make that happen)
