I am going to change your mind about food! Well done steaks, tofu, or even brussels sprouts ARE good if cooked properly. Recipes today are completely different than 30, 20, even 10 years ago. I am going to show you that every day dishes you may not like are actually really good!
I made this just today with juniper berries in place of the black pepper, dried oregano, and dried thyme in place of the bay leaf. I did use the anchovies and garlic, and butter, though, and it came out fantastic. I paired it with pureed parsnips and celeriac and sauteed broad beans. I also put ground juniper berries and garlic in the parsnips and broad beans. I had it alongside a Glutenberg blonde, it was very tasty. Thank you very much!
My uncle introduced me to that seasoning. Only ever seen it used in the Canadian (also in the northern states) drink called the Caesar. Pint glass 3/4 full of ice, add Clamato, vodka, a little spike, a little celery salt and serve with a stick of celery to stir. Oh, and also a few dashes of Tabasco and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce.
Nice. Will try. I watch countless food channels on youtube. Not enough people suggest and or breakdown seasonings at all. I have so many little secret seasonings (well like 7. lmao), and still building. Some I was shocked by. Like why didnt anyone ever suggest this or are using in their cooking videos with 2 million subscribers. I'll throw one out there, Goya perfect seasonings IS CRAZY GOOD. I should see this in so much more latin cooking on youtube, or even just chopped cheese videos. lol. There is a huge gap in the youtube cooking channel market when it comes to seasons, seasoning, understand when and where to season, etc..
I agree with you Goya has amazing products which I buy all the time. And also agree with the lack in channels with seasoning. I can bring that into my future videos. Thanks for the input and checking out my video. Cheers my friend!
Yes yes and yes!!! That’s exactly where I saw it ! I’m a huge fan of Steve! Love his content. I was going to mention that in my video as to how I found out about it but I don’t think my audience would care. You nailed it perfectly my friend. Cheers !!!
😂 a lot of people think that well done steak is tough, because they've never had it cooked correctly. I was raised by my grandparents and my grandma went to school to be a chef . I never used to like steak because my aunt was always the one doing the cooking while my grandma was at work. But after my grandma retired, she cook me a well done venison steak, and it was the most delicious Steger Arrowhead. And I've been a steak lover ever since😂 I wish that woman was still here, even though she taught me how to cook as well, I can't cook like that woman used to cook😢
Im glad someone finally understands what a well done steak is, it doesn’t mean burnt or dry just with no pink or very very little to the point where you can barley even see it. Thanks
So next buy a box of instant potatoes and bake them and see if you end up with chips and you can go into the popcorn section and get some cheddar powder to top them with!
Looking fantastic. Expensive cuts were alwayswasted on me,I'm right at home with the on sale cuts from the supermarket. MacGuyver up some seasoning, sauce and butter and I'm happy. This looks great.
Maybe if you took the time to go to the store you would find a petite sirloin for 5$. If you don’t have the cash don’t get caught stealing lol cheers 🍻
