Do I understand the 2K correctly that it's 1 time use which seems wasteful for a job like this where you only use a portion of the can? I have the same black manifold and I too was not pleased with the finish at all. I will be painting mine too.
Great Video!! I was just looking at this product and saw many reviews where it is better for headers and hot exhaust than Cerakote which was originally formulated to coat firearms, not exhaust systems. I look forward to using this product on my ZL1-1LE!!
I'm going to do this to a 57 3200. It's a factory big window cab with all the chrome and stainless and factory V-8 truck. I'm also adding factory 4x4. I have all the correct parts to do the 4x4 right. 57 was was first year for factory installed 4x4.
I got a 75 with the hood taco'ed out from previous owners, found a 73 hood ,it doesn't have that stupid notch running across the inside ,all solid, supposedly 73 and 74
What’s up Chuck, great builds as always love that gmo truck! So hey so I’m pulling measurements on my 59 fleetside longbed and they seem to be different I’m getting 8” in the front and 12” in the rear to convert it to a shortbed
Hello I am having trouble with the the wire that tells the guage how much gas? We're did you connect the wire? You mentioned to the front dash but didn't show we're? Can you please send me instructions we're? My fuel gauge isn't working I want to replace all the wiring and hoses! But my wiring from the tank anit connected to anything that's why I can't figure out we're it goes. Thanks for your video it helped me a lot, Darlene 😊
Cerakote doesn’t change color and actually does keep the heat in the headers or manifold. Zybar: I don’t trust a company that doesn’t know the difference between a thermal barrier coating and a heat dissipation coating. They use the terms interchangeably.
Awesome video as always man. Love your attention to detail. That green truck that you also have there in the shop sure has some nice looking patina on it. 😁👍🏻👍🏻
@@carlosvelazco1975 o wow those are expensive but very nice. Do you know if they sell front and rear suspension that you can weld on like a kit to the original frame
@@carlosvelazco1975 man I hope you can help me!!! Okay so I followed your video (which was a TREMENDOUS help by the way) I got my drivers side back in & it’s great & good to go. However now the passenger side almost seems like it’s “shorter” side to side now & it feels like it’s like “under tension” if you will when I tried to install it back in the door. It just won’t follow in the vertical window tracks like it did before. Is it possible that I put the sash back on backwards?? I really didn’t think that I did but man I can’t think of anything else that might be wrong. I would REALLY appreciate any input you might have!!
Thanks for posting Chuck, I’m getting ready to shorten my 56 long bed step side this week. I’m going to do it just like you did yours. Really dig your trucks.
