Zycoat from Zybar is applied using a paint gun. After insulation these headers were ran through a 20 minute heat cycle on the engine and experience no change in surface appearance. Only the future will tell how well it will hold up. Company says it will outperform ceramic coated headers.
💢UPDATE status post 9 months 3000 miles and paint did not perform as stated. I can not recommend this product.
Oxidation noticed on both headers.
