How did you make the straight vertical sides on the green macrame bowl? It looks like making vertical sides would be difficult with the machine in the way for a small bowl? Great video! Thanks for sharing!!
That is a awesome instructions on how to make a rope bowl. You have answered so many of my questions. I feel I am ready to make my rope bowl thanks to you.😊🙃
Would you give links to the rope or cord you liked? I constantly go down a rabbit hole searching for cords and rope wasting a lot of money and time. Thank you! And thank you for doing the video, and sharing you esperience and knowledge.
Lovely... I made a good-sized fabric covered bowl g or granddaughter and filled it with rubber duckies@ it was really cute. Added bath things to it, too.
Thanks for the useful vid! I've only ever used polyester but bought some cotton for a linen garment im going to make. Was also thinking it would be great if i wanted to dye the garment
I'm definitely going to try this! I already make quilts from large scraps this way on the longarm...just hadnt thought to use it with T-shirt quilts. thanks much!
Have you tried dyeing rope? What size rope (so it fits under machine foot), thread weight, needle size/type (jeans, topstitch etc) do you recommend? To reduce fraying, think batik fabrics would work? Does it matter if fabric is cut on bias or straight cut? Would definitely like to see how you add handles. Very good instruction in rope bowl stitching-thanks for sharing!
I like the table stand holder you have for your cone thread. What is it called and how do I purchase one? I like that you are using variegated thread as well. Thank you!
They almost never answer any of the comments which is quite disappointing. I would just call customer service and reference this video. Maybe they can tell you what thread was used Or you can go online to their website and take note of the colors that you see in the quilt you’ll probably find what you’re looking for
@@dcwatashi hello! That IS disappointing! I went onto their website and found that a few colors looked similar to one another. Their still photos of the spools are of lower resolution so I couldn’t be sure. I have many of their thread cards but I guess I need to order the Omni-V ones too. Thank you for weighing in; I’ll call them. Have a great weekend!🌼
@@DanaSews google HTML code is pretty much garbage. It won’t let me edit my message so I have to keep sending separate ones but the link I gave you for the variegated if you scroll down on Linda‘s website, it lists the colors that are in that thread and that’s the only one that has the turquoise/teal
