One thing for sure, I'm not just a guy who buy and wear my G-Shock. I do buy-sell and watch repair work as a living. I live and breath G-Shock every single day for at least the last 6 years. I work with mostly quartz movement watches, not just G-Shock. Basically any watch I can get my hands on.
I know what I'm doing.
What am I doing?
1. Document all G-Shock related topics in video form. 2. Explain how to use them or how they works. 3. Evaluate their interiors construction to better appreciate their values 4. I use all the contents I made for my own future use like fixing/customising, etc.
What else?

@@kevinreduk8853 I love mine so much. It tag teams with my khaki strap GWG1000 Mudmaster, depending on whether I need digital display for the day's activities.
@@SilencedMi5 true. Incidentally also my first Gshock. Got it at 30% discount. The best one ever for me was the rangeman gpr-b1000. A watch so good that they killed it to make 3 watches out of it. Really shameful. That was pick g-shock. After that they just made low quality toys for their master of g line.
What gets me about G Shock is that the MR-G lines are so expensive, but have the same module and functions as much cheaper models, But something like the GPW 2000 has a unique module that I believe has never been used anywhere else, and its retail price was much less than a MR-G. Very happy to own a GPW 2000.
@@raksh9 I believe it is a variant of Module 5531 which is used for the MRG-G2000 model line which also bowed in 2017. Not to worry though - the base model of that line started at $4000 USD and went north of $8000 for some of the limited editions. The GPW-2000 put its sister module to better use in a tool watch that remains more true to G-SHOCK spirit, in my opinion.
@@SilencedMi5 Thanks for the info, I was unaware of that other model. And i agree that the GPW2k is in the G Shock spirit. As much as I like the idea of the new MRG squares with Cobarian bezels etc, they are wildly overpriced compared with the titanium GMWB5000 squares, which are yet again overpriced against the sweet spot of the GW5000U.
@Rheinsternmops cool...thx...I actually prefer that one over the "shiny" one...I do however have 5 mudmasters...a frogman is in my hope for the near future...
Hello good morning. I'm a subscriber to your channel here in Brazil, I would like some help or your opinion about a g-shock, as the same watch damaged the case in the corner where the bracelet fits, the model is the g-shock ga1100 Olive green if possible I would like to buy a new box to put in it, thank you in advance for your attention friend
To be fair I don't really understand big G-shock collections. I am not against it, I just don't personally get it. Part of gsgock experience is never worry about breaking your watch no matter what, so I do not take it off in any situation, so I am usually use such a watch for at least 4-5 years before trying a new one.
Just imagine when it's time to change all battery in all this watches in authorised service it would cost u fortune I know coz I been there and I don't collect any more quartz watches 😂
I’ve been a G Shock collector since the first versions. I’m 60 now and am considered a loyal Casio watch collector (Casios words). G Shocks are great timepieces. They are also cool. Then you have the always fashionable and High Tech.
@@musclebuilder2042 One beauty of G Shock is that many models are solar powered, and the capacitors have been known to last for upwards of 15 years. This being the case, I avoid G Shocks that rely on a battery that must be changed every three years or so.
A piece of advice for anyone who will read this... Do not wear too big and too bulky watches if you don't have a wrist for them (like the guy from the video). If you're a kid, then I guess it's ok, but otherwise smart, decent people will never take you seriously and you'll come off to them like some kind of a circus freak, with no much brain power. Don't be distasteful and always try to dress and act accordingly. Watch some videos about how to look like a man, not like a kid... there are plenty of those on youtube.
@@GregSierra Obsessed is not a right word. Just decent. Tho, if you want to look like a clown, be my guest. Also, your tone and words give out what you really are - a manchild. Try to grow up, kiddo.
A piece of advice for anyone who will read this, wear what you want. If someone judges your 'brain power' based on what's on your wrist, it shows more about them than it does you.
Sexy as hell watch.. Especially the first responder edition w/ red accent.. However, I can’t justify the price tag of $300 without a triple functional ABC button on it.
*This model also has a Demo mode. You turn it on while in Home Time Mode. Simultaneously press B & D or the Northeast and Southeast button. The watch will beep and the modes will automatically change every few seconds.*
Just a different strap and buttons - but same problems as GBD200, no 1/10th or 1/100th seconds on stop watch, and too many bluetooth notifications from smart phone..
Hi I’ve got a problem with my recently gifted gst b100, I love the watch but my connect button seems to do nothing? When trying to pair it doesn’t even move the second hand. I’ve cleared the pair on the watch and I can’t seem to get it to pair with my phone
