Take a walk along a deserted beach ... watch the sun rise ... stroll through a country market ... take your favourite furry friend for a relaxing swim.
People from overseas think all of australia is like this. Its only queensland and new south wales. Im from melbourne victoria we have zero of this. Some parts of australia like this is amongst the best in the world
This is my old stomping ground. I walked that track in 1982 before it was bulldozed (there was an old track there for years). Years later I worked for a Cooktown bus company and drove 22-seat Toyota Coasters up and down there in the dry season. The Den was our local, even though we lived in Bloomfield. The place was smashed during the recent rain and I wish I could be up there helping. But I'm in Brisbane...I'll be back up there next year though. It drags you back with its beauty and freshness. You've probably seen the footage but most of Wujal Wujal was under water. The Lions Den had water nearly to the roof.
I'm a cleaner for a age care place in nz came to visit before covid hit loved it so im rent my house out and living with a mate there so looking forward to it
That was the first time we'd been there but we were impressed. Markets everywhere in FNQ are pretty good. We've filmed at Innisfail as well which was much smaller but still interesting. Also filmed markets at the Tanks Arts Centre in Edge Hill, Cairns. Just have to make the video ...
Absaloutely beautiful. Clifton Beach is my dream place to live. Cant wait to permanently leave freezing cold melbourne to live there. Thankyou for your lovely videos, much appreciated on another long dark winters day down here.
Thankyou so much for this beautiful video & I absaloutely loved the music you chose, was just perfect. Clifton Beach is my favourite place in the world, am hoping to live there at some stage, I really appreciate your videos they keep me happy until I can finally leave Melbourne and begin my happy beach life :)
Really glad you liked it. Clifton Beach is great - we live about 10 minutes away in Palm Cove. Due to family reasons we need to move back to NSW in a few months - we'll be very sad too leave this area.
This has got to be the best vid of my home town I have seen! I’ve been living in Sydney for the past 20 years and I don’t remember it being so stunning. Beautiful aerials of the card-stone valley. So glad this vid came up in my feed. Oh, and just quickly … we used to shoot those rapids in tractor tyre tubes when I was a kid and I can guarantee there are no crocs in the water. Awesome vid! Thank you.
We stay at the Sebal every year and yes it is fantastic, expensive if you buy in the resort property. There aren't many units available for sale but they are good.
@@dannyn6762 We loved it, visited twice in the few days we were there. At low tide Crocodiles shouldn't be an issue because you'll be able to see them if they are there. We are generally really careful up here when it comes to swimming anywhere. Will only let our dogs in the water if we know the area. Even at Palm Cove a friend told us she has seen 3 crocodiles in the water recently so always need to be careful. There is a mangrove area at Bushland Beach from memory - we'd stay away from that.
