Halfway Between Townsville and Cairns in Far North Queensland - The Small Aussie Town of Cardwell 

Anyone who has driven to Cairns from Townsville (or further south) knows of Cardwell because it's a perfect distance to stop for a break.
The main road is often full of tourists but in many ways it's a bit of a hidden gem because most people just grab a drink or a sanwich and move on. We stayed for a few days and it is a stunning area and one of our favoruite FNQ beaches.
This video was shot at sunrise and also later in the day so you can see Cardwell at its best.
