My name is Chris, but my friends call me ChrisBear. I love all things Disney, and my favorite place in the world is the Walt Disney World Resort. I share weekly stories on this channel to help you with your next visit to Walt Disney World.
My favorite Disney Character will always be Goofy, and know that Goofy is the real leader of the club! My favorite attraction at Walt Disney World is the Carousel of Progress, and my favorite restaurant is 'Ohana.
So excited to help you with your next visit to Walt Disney World, be sure to connect in the comments, and remember there's a great big beautiful tomorrow.
I did this and my profile doesn’t have my picture on it but says it’s on there. Also I can only see my ticket and the original, leader. Do I have to do the invite for everyone who party member and then they have to do it for there device?
I always suggest a sling bag for the parks. Here's a video I did talking about why a sling bag is the best option ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9b7fxfkLUQU.html
These bags work great at any theme park really! This channel has just always been focused on Disney world! Thanks for watching and appreciate you asking the questions
@@BearSavvyTravels I was a pass holder to Disney now just universal Disney is to expensive geni plus sucks lol I got a water fly sling bag I love it got it on Amazon
Thanks! I was on the fence as to whether or not to buy the fuel rods on Amazon or use an external battery that we have at home. My external battery at home is like 35 MAH so we will just go with that!
As long as you have your own account in My Dis eg Experience and you are linked to your family yes! BUT if you are managed by another family member you want be able to make plans in your own.
So my issue is, my wife and i are using the same account on our phones. Her phone shows the tickets and resort, mine don’t. I try to link the tickets to my phone but says they are already claimed
It sounds like you might have 2 accounts, one that you are logged into with your own email, and one that your wife is managing. You may need to merge the two accounts, or if you are both logged into the same account you need to log out and create an actual account linked to your own email
Yea so the solution here would be to log out in one phone create an account for yourself that is linked to an email, and then merge the managed account with your account linked to your email which I go through in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TA-nCIXVU4E.htmlsi=O9lfnLji4t5DrHp4
“Remember when you were a kid, you'd go on vacation, you'd be like, ‘Why is dad always in a bad mood?’ _Now_ I understand. ‘How can I spend an enormous amount of money, be uncomfortable, and listen to my children complain and whine? - _Disney!_ Oh, good!’” -Jim Gaffigan
Just making sure I understand. Ive shared the plans by invite to give my nephew access to his ticket but I show up in his friends and family list and he can see my ticket in addition to his ticket. I want to be sure the lightening lane reservations we make separately dont interfere with each other since he will be off doing his own thing and I'm managing for 5 others. Does sending the invite to connect prevent this or is it just giving him visibility and the ability help manage the larger group?
I don't love this video. I like Anker chargers and I like Fuelrods. The main thing I like about Fuelrods is I don't have to worry about it getting damaged. If my kid drops it, if I drop it, if it gets left in a hot car all day, I can swap it out and get a new one. Also the Fuelrod can be swapped out at hundreds of locations nation wide. Anker will sell you a quality product but if something happens to it, its time to buy a new one.
Thank you so much!! Didn't expect that the app would be mess and should use website! I was so confused with the app that merged through QRcode/code but just add as other friend list...till I tried your way to send email and link account!
I love slings! They're my go-to for EDC. But I just returned from WDW and was debating between a sling and a light backpack. In the end, I opted for the backpack and couldn't have been happier. I always count on buying 'stuff'. ALWAYS. Pop-corn buckets, soda cups, various souvenirs, my water bottle, my rain jacket, snacks, food left-overs... there's no way I could've stored all that inside a sling. But that's just me. A sling is a great choice too
Love my Anker chargers, but fuel rod as an emergency backup in the parks when you forget to charge or don’t have enough time to get a full charge seems like a must have.
I could definitely understand that! But the best part is you never lay the agent!! The agent gets paid by Disney directly and you always pay Disney either directly or through a secure payment system that the agent has set up! It’s very secure and they are completely free!
Hi Chris, I really appreciate your video. So helpful. I have linked my family on the app and it seems that is all right. They have differente accounts. Will I be able to purchase genie+ together ? Or each one should purachese it separatelly ?
That's a great question that I actually don't know the answer too. That would be a question that you really need to talk to Guest Relations for, or someone at the Guest Experience Team tents through the parks. Sorry I couldn't help with that.
thanks Chris... Someone please help me understand if you can... I don't understand what MagicMobile (WITHIN the My experience app) gets me that the MyExperience app doesn't already give. 1) I can scan my ticket from my phone under "tickets and passes" 2) I can set and use lightning lane under "my Genie day" 3) order food under "mobile food orders" 4) I can unlock my hotel door under "resort hotel" It seems that all the videos and advice make it seems that we have this wonderful "new" feature and HAVE to set up MagicMobile (which is within app) do do all those things, but it looks to me that it's a needless sub-app within an app. 'Needless' is too strong a word, I'm just saying that since I can and will use my phone for all those things ALREADY, why do I need MagicMobile (I'm repeating myself I know =) Or it is that the MagicMobile is 0.25 seconds faster than doing things the "old fashioned" way that I am describing. And if it is simply that, I get it, but want to know if I am missing something else =) ????
Great content, very helpful! Haven’t been to DW since 2018 so these updates are great! The kids have their magic bands, but I can’t find mine so now plan on using my Apple Watch and saving some $.
I love Anker products, been a fan for many years. I have a few battery packs. They are so heavy! Matter of fact the Anker 10k is almost 8oz and the 20k is 12oz. I feel like I am weighing myself down with a battery pack. The one I use is 7.5oz and the fuel rod 2.5oz. I feel this is just piece of mind. Once you download the app for the locations map you are bound to run into a charging station. I see your point but my selling point is weight with the convenience of swapping. I should add my back hurts over time in general. When I go to WDW, I’m looking 5-10 days. Carrying a bunch of things with me as you do to I bet. If I can lighten the load I would get the fuel rod.
I wasn't sure at first if you're calling me an idiot, or if you're referring to your annual pass holder friends as idiots... either way, definitely not accepted here. I appreciate you sharing your opinion, but there is a right way and a wrong way to go about it. As for your feedback, the process is the same whether for annual passes, or those with regular tickets. Additionally, in January, you'll no longer need to make a reservation if you have just a regular day ticket so you can go ahead and disregard. I hope you have a better experience with other channels, and again appreciate you being here.
I just ran into your video and immediately subscribed. My family has never been to any theme park. My son’s 10th birthday is coming up in September and we are not sure which park to take him to being we have never been to any. I would love your suggestions & feed back. Universal studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios
I think that this really comes down to what does your son LOVE! If he is super into Star Wars, then I would go Hollywood Studios. If he LOVES animals, then Animal Kingdom, if Harry Potter is his thing, then univeral (be sure to do both parks though, and be sure to do Islands of Adventures first because if you see diagon alley before Hogsmeade, then Hogsmeade is disappointing). Any of the parks are AMAZING, but it all comes down to what your son is super into. He is going to have the most fun at the place that has the thing he loves the most.
anker and ravpower banks are soooo much better and better bang for your buck. my ravpower can charger my wifes phone and my phone at the same time it can do this 2 with one charge!
This is definitely solid advice. When ever I go on vacation I look at a hotel is just a roof over my head and everything else is worth spending more money on.
Fuel rods you can just swap them at the park for free. Your family members and friends can use it and not have to worry about the battery depleting . You can’t do that with the anker… this is obviously a sponsored video especially when he is telling us to use his code at check out.
@mathiasking-ex1up…. This is not a sponsored video at all, but appreciate that feel like it is, means I really am passionate in what I believe, which I am! I get that totally, you can swap them out and I actually talk about that in the video. What I don’t love is that there are other options for the same price that I can use for 2 or 3 charges, but you can’t even get half a charge in the fuel rod. That means you are wasting time looking for a station. Appreciate the perspective and for sharing here! Thanks for watching 🏴☠️❤️🙏
I gave a thumbs up just for the "build-up" intro acting....😄. Also, there may be advantageous in certain situations to link a group- like being a mom with 2 minor kids (they can't have their own accounts and will be experiencing attractions together).
We're seeing this "reservation" garbage all over the nation as more and more Parks try to copy and paste the Disney method however it's such a nightmare and easily recognizable as a covid hustle that parks are learning their lesson and bailing out of this poor strategy that clearly cost Disney millions they can write off on the books but likely gained them millions of dollars on the DL for information hustling🤔
I actually enjoy the Reservation system. It makes it easier to know where to go and where to avoid. If all of the reservations for a park are taken for that day, I DO NOT want to be in that park anyway lol
@@BearSavvyTravels id prefer to have the freedom to visit any area and not Fork over my private information... I'm an adult, I can decide if it's too crowded or not.
True, I just like having the ability to know if it is too crowded before even showing up, this way I can make plans to go some place else, and not waste time having to show up and see if it is too busy. Everyone has a different way of visiting, and I have enjoyed the reservation system. Luckily it is going a way in January of 2024, so hopefully you'll be happier visiting then
That’s not what I said, I just said that I enjoy the reservation system… having this makes planning in my opinion much easier and less overwhelming for Walt Disney World… but that’s my opinion, and I am just happy that in January you will be able to visit the way you would more enjoy 😊 🙏
Thank you so much! That second option is an excellent tip! This week I'm starting work as greeter/seater at the Brown Derby and I was just checking for info to start learning, and I will definitely use this tip of yours to help guests! 👏😃 thanks again! 🙏
