I made this channel many moons ago to post some LEGO stop motions of mine. A couple years later, I began posting videos of my band The New Arrivals, now known as New And Used. Now, I'll just kinda do whatever, but don't expect too much stuff. Make sure to check out the band's new channel at ru-vid.com/show-UCRbfA8yo325FmQznQQa62-w
This is a beautiful arrangement. The improvisations on this (I'm gonna assume they're improvisations) are actually so badass yet technical. The organ here is standard rock registration, but that just goes to tell ya how good 88 8000 000 registration with third percussion is. Also, that snare sound is heavenly.
And also what the devs for the 3do version promised like fmv cutscenes and new weapons and new monsters, The 3DO ver of DOOM could have been the ultimate console version of DOOM for its time had it actually been done properly
Yeah all the glory to Aubrey Hodges for doing, I suppose, a decent job within the confines of atmospheric music. To me though it has always just sounded like an evil air conditioner.
sounds too much like frontground music, like its more vip than the gameplay. game music is supposed to be background while the player concentrates on the game
What can you expect? Only 1 person was tasked with the impossible all by themselves and its not their fault but, they should've gotten a team to port Doom on the 3DO but instead they only got 1 person to do so, and its really sad because the Doom port for the 3DO did indeed have potential , good music and I believed if it was done properly it would be the ultimate console version of Doom for its time, but because 3DO had garbage like Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, you gotta expect it to be bad, the only thing that makes it good is the music but other than that its really bad because of the framerate and how unplayable it is, Don't blame the person behind it, blame the publishers for wanting to rush it out the door
Funny I thought the same. I used to work at replay in Stockton and I loaned my tape to friend who never returned it. It's good to know this little gem still exists
This was the only material they released. Mike later played guitar in the Sacramento ska band Filibuster, and Steve drummed for many bands since Nuclear Catfish, including Whine, Madverb, and Garden Gnomes. He currently plays in the band Chariots of Sound. Thanx for listening!
