And also what the devs for the 3do version promised like fmv cutscenes and new weapons and new monsters, The 3DO ver of DOOM could have been the ultimate console version of DOOM for its time had it actually been done properly
Yeah all the glory to Aubrey Hodges for doing, I suppose, a decent job within the confines of atmospheric music. To me though it has always just sounded like an evil air conditioner.
What can you expect? Only 1 person was tasked with the impossible all by themselves and its not their fault but, they should've gotten a team to port Doom on the 3DO but instead they only got 1 person to do so, and its really sad because the Doom port for the 3DO did indeed have potential , good music and I believed if it was done properly it would be the ultimate console version of Doom for its time, but because 3DO had garbage like Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, you gotta expect it to be bad, the only thing that makes it good is the music but other than that its really bad because of the framerate and how unplayable it is, Don't blame the person behind it, blame the publishers for wanting to rush it out the door
