Nothing beats good ol' public transportation like subways or metro trains.😄 The traffic is so bad in many of those larger westcoast cities. You have to drive to just get around. :/
Hyperlapse is best when YOU are moving. Essentially the same Timelapse but you want to be moving. Same for the Active Tracking. That second tracking option is you moving around an object but it staying centered. Just an fyi from a OP3 user for a few months. Nice vid. Going to NY next month w/ this cam!

It is true! The best Mexican food I've had has always been on the Westcoast😄 It's definitely a different vibe out there versus the Eastcoast/ NYC imo, but not in a bad way just different. I find it way more chill versus the hustle in grind in other cities.
Was that last spot publicly accessible? I can never find good, high elevation spots that aren't either private property or paid observation decks with thousands of tourists
I've always wanted to visit Boston. Now, if I do, I have a few ideas and things to check for. I also agree with you that sometimes you just need to go and do things by yourself. Now I'm thinking...solo trip??🤔...hmm maybe😄 We'll see. Great video though!

@@justin_bernstein I'd be most gateful. Can't be the only one who needs to know what tpo press first when I turn the camera on so I can use it. So far, I believe I need to put Mimo software on my phone and then get it to link to the Pocket 3. So, how?? :)
One big question is, do you plan on taking photos the camera you get? If so or you want any semblance of zoom go for the zv-1. If strictly video then it’s more of a debate of use cases
Gotcha so if you’re going to stick to taking photos on your phones then the pocket 3 is great, it’s a plug and play type system. But since you do take a lot of photos and if you want to upgrade phone photos then I’d actually go for the ZV-1. The zooms are better (M2 wider than M1) and overall a camera like the ZV-1 is more flexible
DANG IT! The more and more videos I see about the Pocket 3, the more I want to get one. I already have the Hero 11, Hero 11 Mini, Insta360 3x, and the Insta360 Go 3S.....do I really need another camera? 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣 I heart for the Pocket 3 says get it, but the "you have enough cameras as it is" side of me says no. Bro, as video quality, Pocket 3 beats all of this action cameras by quality of the video. I have Go pro 11 and 10, and I hate the quality of the video, colors are horrible. Pocket 3 is the best among all of them.

You can actually zoom in more if you drop the resolution. It’s some thing I just found out, I think if you shoot in 1080 you can zoom in more I just don’t know if it’s really usable. It may be something in a well lit area that could be something for B-roll
Daaamn Z8 is a beast but yeah guess you gotta see what your use cases are. Idk if I could ever fully go without a DSLR or mirrorless just because of the photography aspect and do like having something more substantial in my hand when shooting for longer periods. If the Z8 is just sitting around collecting dust I get it though

I totally get it. It’s so easy to fall into GAS and chasing specs. I just looked up the Z6 III’s specs and wow no kidding about the file sizes given the specs. I’m going through a similar conundrum because even though I have the A7C II and it’s totally good been thinking about selling a different different camera I have and picking up either the ZV-E1 or a used A7S III for the added video features and honestly 12 MP is perfectly fine for most photo too. Sometimes it’s tough to cut through the noise and figure out the best gear for you and your uses
For this video all settings were left on auto since I think most people starting out or using for fun would. Other vlogs I’m either using my A7C II which I use in manual or my iPhone 15 Pro which I’ve started using third party apps to use manual settings but prior was auto in the built in camera app but shooting log

Colorado and New York are two separate places. You could try Huston. As I am a Coloradan, I could never see myself living in NYC. too many people. too noisy. Too much going on. Where CO has Nature. Quiet. and camping.

Hey Katia! I went right after Thanksgiving and into early Dec. Yeah was definitely a bit rainy for us during that time but wasn’t the entire time, Italy was good but the others not as much. I’m not sure exactly when rainy season starts and ends around there so worth taking a look and maybe shifting a little if you want higher odds of better weather
Sold all of my gear, so im now watching camera videos to cope. There are so many, its soooo hard to pick. Right now the bmcc6kff is 1500, the s5iix is 1600, the fx30 is 1,500, like how so i pick? I like them all. I had the a7iv and sold it too, it just never felt right? Didn’t do video the way i wanted, didn’t do photos, it felt big at times? So i got the zve1 instead and it was dope, but im in Florida and it was over heating every 8 minutes, sooo i loved it, but that was annoying. Then i got gifted a bmppcc6k1gen and i couldn’t deal with the no- autofocus, when i needed to do RU-vid content it was so annoying, even with a monitor, i kept being blurred so i sold it. Now im just waiting for the perfect camera . I like the a7cii, but again, there are so many other cameras for the same amount 😢of
It can be so tough to find the camera you love for sure, as much as we all want it to be true don’t think there will ever be the perfect camera, just one that is good enough for what we need. Definitely sympathize with you tho, way too many options to choose from lol
@@justin_bernstein i got a good deal on a fx30, and went with that. Im trying to get good with it. I was used to full frame, and while it feels like a downgrade it does what i need, which is honestly what i should care about. On a good note, i was able to sell so much stuff i had gathered over the years, felt sooo good to see those dusty shelves empty 😌

Hahah apparently so! Most people I spoke to back home and foreigners in Japan had not but happy to see the online community has! Honestly we only saw one other group of foreigners there, maybe depends on the time of year

I loved Beppu - spent a couple of days during my birthday. I had some lukewarm preconceptions (ha!) about the place, but once I arrived at the train station and walked around, those were quickly dispelled.
@@justin_bernstein Yeah, I had read so many blogs and such beforehand that said that it was a bit of a "Disneyfied" hot springs town - and that it was going to suck compared to my ultimate hot springs town, Kurokawa Onsen. Don't misunderstand me - it was no Kurokawa Onsen, but I had a great time going to the Seven Hells area.
