I wanted to share my thoughts on the EF Ultimate Break trip I took to Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and Lichtenstein. I did this trip last year tied to Octoberfest and it was absolutely amazing!

I'm planning to do this one next summer. I'm booking solo and probably going to get the single hotel room upgrade. Based on your trip was it pretty easy to get things going with other people? Since I wouldn't be in the hostels with a bigger group of people I just worry I might get left out of some of the fun activities that happen

i am going on this trip soon out of the nj/ny area - what were your flights like? out of which airport and how many layovers? Thank you!

Nice! I flew out of JFK with Air France and had one layover in CDG and then over to VCE. Was a little rushed in CDG so heads up but not awful. Flex back from ZRH and was direct to JFK. All flights through EF

I went end of Nov - early Dec so sounds very similar. The weather in Italy was very nice and sunny. Germany, Austria, and Switzerland definitely a bit more of a winter feel, mix of sun and clouds. Definitely bring a good coat though cause it will get cold
